Evansville baseball reminds me of Oakland's men's basketball team in the NCAA tournament. Nobody gave them any hope of beating big, bad Kentucky! But Evansville believed in themselves, played with poise and confidence and showed up to win despite what everybody else was thinking.

CMO barely missed that pitch in the bottom of the 9th. It was perfect barrel on ball just under it and lifted it. It sounded great off the bat. It's clear you don't watch much college baseball. You would know losing 1 game in a Super Regional isn't a big deal and has no barring on how good of a team you are. Baseball teams lose the most games out of every sport just because of the number of games they play and the nature of the sport.

Well, Tennessee won the National Championship, the regular season SEC Championship, and the SEC Tournament. They were the first team in the history of the SEC to win 60 games in a season and the first college baseball team in 30 something years to also accomplish 60 wins. They hit the 2nd most homeruns in the history of NCAA Baseball while also having the most 20 HR hitters on one team. So it turns out Tennessee was as good as people said they were.
