probably not, all the best 12u players are p[laying travel ball and doing pg stuff, little league is not really a very competitive league in general in the us

@Chris-ik2ov I'm from California, but been around Little League forever. You can see when certain teams have that "it" factor and when others are more or less pretenders. I'm not trying to put down any other participant, but if there was no expansion to 8 regions, some of those teams don't get in. Can you imagine a West Region Final that would've matched up Nevada vs Hawaii?

We are here in SATX not far from Boerne...my son allstar teeball team just recently returned from the World Series in Louisiana. Us and another SATX team were there. The other SATX team won it all (Prospect Hill Diamond Dawgs). Texas has a ton of baseball talent.

Boerne is a powerhouse for baseball in Texas, if you think these kids are good, watch boerne select team 12u. This team has the talent to run through this tournament, they have an elite baseball program with top training. When I heard boerne was going to assemble a team to get in the tournament for the little league World Series, I couldn’t believe it, those kids play the best, this is the team to easily win it all and beat Japan

That kid really really leaned into that pitch, he shouldnt have made it to 1st. After that play, the momentum shifted to Texas. Had a good game up to that point. Terrible job by the Ump! But I guess it don't matter because I dont see NO US team this year beating one of them other countries like Mexico or Japan. Them boys are legit and play like grown men 😂

The bats are so light and have no pop, the kids can't hit home runs like they used to. They used to hit bombs all the time and now it's rare. The Japan kid figured it out and had an old Easton stealth comp from like 2010

Kids today are bigger. They should either enlarge the playing field, or regulate the size of a player. Having some 6 foot tall 12 year old is a bit unfair.

No clue about Texas defense after todays game. Short stop gets one out pitchers combine for three, one ground ball and two pop ups, the other 14 were strike outs. We do know the bats are very loud for this Texas team. Penn only allowed 3 runs in the Regionals and Texas had THREE home runs. Great job Texas, y'all go win it all.

When they started to call the runners safe, at least what they are looking at is consistent, and so long as it stays the same throughout the game, I think its good.. Tie goes to whom? The Runner.. so I am good with these calls as long as they stay consistent..

If the ball is in the "strike zone" it is a strike even if it hits the batter. Same thing if the batter swings and the ball hits him it is a strike.

Those Kids are all from the same select ball organization Texas Twelve 12U Maroon. That’s how they setup LL around here.

@@jaredr991 Yes they play little league but also play on the same select team. Some LL organizations allow one of their teams to be stacked with players from a select organization. Almost, if not all LL teams competing at that level are not fairly selected “All Star” kids, but a “select/ travel ball team” that was allowed keep their players on the same little league team with the hopes of making it far into the series.

It’s a shame and embarrassing how bad LL International has gotten over the past 40 years. There are plenty of good LL umpires out there, but they invite the worst ones to Williamsport every year….umpire at each base and runners are still allowed to leave way early. And don’t get me started on the HPB in the PA Texas game. LL rule book: if a pitch that is a strike hits a batter the batter is NOT awarded a base!!
