My absolute favorite hz on a Whelen!
@RBLUS_TY3 жыл бұрын
My favorite hz from Whelen is 560hz on the digital controllers. On analogs, I like 560hz, 600hz, 750hz and 800hz. I like how 560hz digitals sound in Alert. Anyways, this was a pretty good video. Not really sure why a few people are saying that Air Horn will destroy the speaker drivers, considering that the coal fired power plant I live by always did a Whoop test followed by either a plused/non-continuous or continuous/honked Air Horn (as an all clear signal). They've been doing that since the plant went into service in late 1986-early 1987. (The plant has an Analog single tone Whelen 2750/2705 with an 800hz-900hz pitch). So a little over 30 years of Whoop and Air Horn and not a single problem with the drivers smh. People doubt these electronic sirens, especially Whelens. Anyways, the plant is closing down for good in the summer because of goddammnn political reasons (FUCC U, EPA). Last time the siren sounded was when a slight chemical leak broke out in the engine room. The 2750/2705 sounded off in Normal Wail (Not Slow or Fast Wail) when that happened. It sounded just like the 3016 in Lake Lafayette.

Yeah, don't try and do continuous airhorn with the speaker driver's hooked up. It will blow them in a heartbeat
