The Whelen Freedom Rota-Beam Series Lightbar is a "Cutting Edge" version of the Freedom Lightbar that is built using the new Rota Beam modules. The Rota-Beam module is designed to imitate the classic rotator effect without the maintenance problems and high current demands of motors and halogen lights. The Freedom Rota-Beam Series Lightbar is built on the same Rugged extruded aluminum I-Beam construction of standard Freedom lightbars.

I work for a tow company and our wreckers have old halogen rotating lights. I really want to gut the insides and install 5 led rotobeams in them

@@Camdg2010 Take out the halogen bulbs and replace with led equivalent. You can even put colored LEDs and swap for clear dome covers if you prefer. There's never going to be anything with quite the look of a rotator, without an actual mechanical rotator. But you can cut the power draw with led bulbs at least.

Besides this Mini version, the next shortest length comes in at 55". Longest is 92".

3-Diode or 6-Diode Alleys, or short warning modules can be added to the sides.

Pretty cool! But I really still prefer the real old school thing. Mostly cause how they look good. Would be nice if they tried to recreate but with LEDs. ( If you don’t know what I’m talking about, LEDs on the inside and the outside is a replica of the real thing )
