But it's very uncommon to use air horn for a tornado warning and you know you think they would use alert tone for that

@@stormspotter air horn itself is an uncommon signal to hear and I always saw air horn to be more of an all clear signal or for hazardous conditions not pertaining to super cell storms

Those are DTMF codes. The fire department uses those codes to activate the siren via radio.
