armor isn’t that important for light armor skitzo builds or bow builds with so much mobility because you have enough attributes to still do a ton or damage and the whole point in light armor is to not get hit.

hatchet unstoppable since immortallity take that away and you'll see a new meta shift. Greatsword, just came new into the game. Most MMo's when they release something new it's broken -> greatsword same thing. Take away the outgoing dmg 15% xtra and make it balanced to 5% you'll see a huge change.

The GS isn’t overpowered though. It’s decent, but nothing broken. I’m actually surprised at how underwhelming it is. I thought it would be much stronger.

@@NWSwill GS is great in Pve and out damages pretty much everything, but you're completely right in terms of PvP. I rarely see people run GS over GA or Hammer.

Pretty stupid how hatchet light attacks can easily hit 2k+ but fs heavy attacks can barely hit 1500

@@FaunsNW do you know how much harder it is to maintain distance from someone and try to constantly hit them with heavy attacks? you can literally just go berserk and bum rush anyone and spam left click and On top of that, there is a delay before you can start running again after getting hit with a melee attack which makes it even worse.

@@tyler9611 tracking on hatchet is actually awful, it’s hard to even hit light attacks let alone heavies. I think it’s easier to hit with fs than hatchet personally

@@rifie1495 bow and musket? Bow I think is in a great spot, trash damage but quite evasive. Musket I would agree that they could nerf the damage at range, but I think I'd rather see them remove the hit scan and give it a projectile

It's more about balancing light armor than any weapon imho. If heavy/medium armor was more viable and light armor less, GS/Musket/Bow would be a lot more balanced imho.

@@shadex582 I think the recent changes made a huge improvement to the weights, but when you combine 2 high mobility weapons with light armour it can be very strong. However I main SnS/Spear in Medium and heavy and FS/BB in light. I find all are good with the right builds

What are you talking about?? Greatsword is the hardest weapon in the entire game to use. The hitbox is smaller then musket AND you have to be REALLY close for ANYTHING to land. And the tracking is really bad. I constantly wif all my abilities. IF anything it needs a buff.

Simply a meta that requires 5x resilient. If you’re not wearing it, GS, BB and other low crit damage weps will dominate.

A couple of things....1) GS and Hatchet probably need a damage nerf. 2) The tracking on these weapons is very strong as well (people cried endlessly when the GA tracked like that) 3) Nerf light armor damage bonus (the roll is already super powerful - 20% damage is too much).

@@osmanbayrak913 Tracking means how much the game "assists" in helping you hit your target. These weapons have a tendancy to cause your character to "lunge" in the direction of the enemy, making it very difficult for people to get out of your melee range.

@@osmanbayrak913 I don't think it is officially (or really unofficially) published anywhere. It is just something you feel when playing. When the game launched, GA had insane tracking (to the point where you could accidently hit the wrong target because it locked on from so far away). They have since nerfed that, but seemily did the same mistake with the GS. Beyond that, some weapons just track better than others (some of combos with attack speed as well - because a little tracking every .5 seconds is way better than a little tracking ever 1.5 seconds). I wouldn't be surprised to see some changes to that in the Spring patch.

Gotta remember, most people who play PvP or PvE. Are not very good, so you can capitalize on that with basically any build. Getting a high kill game in OPR is usually because you farmed bots/bad players.
