When A 7,000 HOUR Solo Plays OPEN CREW Sea of Thieves!

This video is perfect. Being much more dedicated to sea of thieves than my friends are, I usually play the game on open crew. This video captures the experience so well, the random leaves and joins, the one guy constantly crunching into the mic, the only person who talks being someone you can barely understand, and especially the pretending you don’t know as much about the game as you do because it’s easier than trying to explain it sometimes. It’s so chaotic, I love it. Some of my best memories in the game and craziest situations I’ve been in have been through open crew. It’ll usually take 30min-1hour of joining random crews to find one that’ll be suitable for a full session, but once you do it can be so much fun. I’ve only had a couple truly negative experiences with people just trying to ruin your day, but I’ve found that the vast majority of open crew players are super nice, just working on getting pirate legend and are a little confused, but they got the spirit.

Open crew is like any sort of club, you join and you have be social enough to be able to talk to people, get them to open up and get everyone working for the same goal, but in such a way that everyone feels like they contributing, they're valued and they all get something from it. Not easy but social skills are like all skills, they need lots of practice and patience.

Just spent over an hour trying to find a crew only to have people leave after like 20 minutes, or are no help or have mics inside of A/C units.....really sucks. I want to love this game but i waste so much time just trying to find good teammates, I get worn out and just quit.
