I haven't had any experience getting stalked but when I was 16 I was on a busy train and this creepy old guy kept leaning on me and trying to touch me. I froze in fear and made eye contact with other passengers silently asking for help... but no one did. I finally mustered up the courage to pull away from him and I shouted at him "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!!" The guy was shocked and backed away and I ran off as soon as the doors opened. I remember being embarrassed from all the stares then but looking back now I'm proud that I stood up for myself and I would do the same to help others if they need it.

Being stalked is really scary, and to be honest if she had come to me for help I don't know what I would have done. I can come here and say she should always be helped. But in the moment, the decisions you take are not always the same as when you see it from a distance. I have had the experience of being asked for help, offering it, and being scammed, used or targeted as a result. It happened so many times to me that now I feel I would not offer my help so readily, and it is not something I am proud of. But it depends so much on each person's experience. While watching this, all I could think of was these people returning the way they came after escorting the girl, a way in the direction of the stalker. If this was not a social experiment, I would be very worried for each person that was alone after helping her. It is just due to my previous experience. This is something I think should be considered before judging people's reactions.

When I was 13, I was with a childhood friend and we were walking in the streets. It was daytime, but it wasn't somewhere I was familiar with since I was just visiting my grandma. There were two older guys who started following us and at first we thought we were just paranoid so we took different turns and all, but then we realized they were really following us and got scared because we weren't close to home. So my friend whi was braver tried reassuring me and all, she took two big rocks on the floor and gave one to me saying "they try anything, I throw that to one of them, you throw that to another and we run". I gulped and nodded. Then we saw an old lady coming out of her house (the streets were so empty and that's why we were 10× more affraid). So we rushed to her and told her quiwtky something like "auntie, those two guys on the other side are following us, can you help us please ?" And once she understood she conversed with us normally and all, and the boys walked away and we thanked her a lot Of course the adventure didnt end here, that day was rough and disasters like that kept accumulating til the point I was like "please tell me this is a dream and I'll wake up safe in my bed." In the end, we did get back home safely, but I was so traumatized that I couldn't talk about anything that happened that day to my mom until recently, I kept telling myself "nobody will ever believe me" Five years have passed and I'm still grateful to that auntie.

This happened to me recently, a man was following me and my sister. We walked into a store and the man followed us. He kept trying to talk to us asking about what I was wearing. We were so scared. The nice man behind the counter noticed and made sure we left safely while he distracted the creep. He even gave us a blessing before we left. We ran home. After we reached our house I cried because i was so thankful for the store man. A women had recently been raped in that area and the store man really made us feel safe. I remember the story my dad told me. He jogs very early in the morning, his usual route is to our old airport where it's pretty isolated. One time as he was resting on a bench, a girl sat down beside him and casually talked to him as if they were old pals. He found out that two guys on a motorcycle were following the girl, and even parked near them perhaps waiting for the girl to jog again. My dad didn't left her until those men left 🥺. When he told me that I got worried for him too 😅 He's not exactly young anymore, but I'm proud of him.

I once had a hooded man following me when I was walking to the train station. I tried walking faster but he just kept following. Luckily two guys, which I assume were students noticed. One of them called out to me 'hey sis! I thought you were having dinner with mom' and then he and his friend came walking beside me. They walked me all the way to the train station and even waited with me until my train arrived. It's not that hard to help people, and a warm gesture like that will always stay with you 💕

this happened to me when we move to our new house, I don't know a single person in that neighborhood and I was walking home from school when I notice these three guys (a little older than me) following me and I was wearing my earphone that time so I first turned off my music without them noticing it cause I wanted to hear their footsteps and I tried to go to a different direction that also leads to my home to check if they're really following me (don't worry there are some people walking on that street) and then these guys still following me and speed up like they were almost near me that I heard one of them say "walk beside her" my god and I started to get scared until my forgotten alarm clock on the phone started ringing and the sound of it is kinda ringtone so the first thing came up to my mind is act like I was talking to someone on the phone and said (w/ a not so loud voice enough to hear it) "Hello Pa (Dad)...uhmm... I'm almost there..." I thought they're gonna back off when they hear me talking to my dad but they did not so I level up my acting and continue talking to the phone "where? I can't see you, wait... (acting like I was looking for someone far)" and then I wave my spare hand at someone I don't know and said "Oh! I can see you now, I'm here!" I shouted and start running without looking back until I got home panting. I was in her situation when I was at grade 5. I usually walked from school to my house on a small alley as it's the nearest way. On that day, a man kept following me, and he called me "baby...baby" when nobody was on the alley with us. It was really scary because just me and him were on that alley that time, then I ran to the direction of the market and kept standing in a fruit store. Until he walked away did I go home. That was a nightmare, now I even still remember his face. What a pervert!

Being followed by someone is so traumatic to me. It was 10 PM when my friend and I were on our way to our dormitory. There was a man following us, it was so dark because there were no street lights, at first we thought we just went to the same direction, until the guy touched our hands then we ran. I saw him chasing us and it scared me a lot so I screamed for help. He ran away, laughing. (I even still remember the way he laughed😣) Thank God, there were some male students took us to dormitory safely but it still makes me scared to go in the dark place.

As someone who physically developed at an early age, age 12-17 exposed to me the sheer amount of deviants in the world...I can never unsee or unhear some of the things those men said, even after I told them I'm 12 or 13 years old. Why is the world like this. Why are so many people driven by sex to the point where they would hurt and destroy child, or even get more excited to destroy a childs innocence. We need better activities. Kids deserve their innocence.
@VVayVVard3 жыл бұрын
As a biologist, I find this very easy to explain: being legally "underage" has nothing to do with sexual maturity. It's perfectly healthy for a male to feel strong attraction to a female of fertile age (in fact, it's unhealthy, or "unfit", for them not to do so). That's the mechanism that has allowed animals to survive for hundreds of millions of years, and humans are no exception. If this didn't happen, humanity would go extinct. Teenagers "losing their innocence" is a trivial issue by comparison.
@manyabansal63943 жыл бұрын
@@VVayVVard You can't hurt a person for that "desire". There's a thing called consent... Teenagers "losing their innocence " is not a trivial matter if they were forced
@VVayVVard3 жыл бұрын
@@manyabansal6394 Violence, drugging etc is a problem, I agree. There's also the issue of STDs and unwanted pregnancies. I don't subscribe to the notion of sexual 'innocence' though. In prehistoric times it was not unusual for children to witness adults mating, and to do "sexual" acts towards one another, like chimpanzees do. The reason our culture turned out the way it did, treating sex as a taboo, has nothing to do with morals. In historic times birth control did not exist, and pregnancy often meant death for both a mother and her baby. Pornography did not exist, either. Thus, preventing childhood exposure to the concept of sex was the best way to reduce the likelihood of unwanted pregnancies. It was necessary to maintain societal stability. Our concept of "sexual innocence" is just a vestige from this age, and has no functional (medical or psychological) significance of its own.

Awe, he's so sweet. I hope that you do one day tell him how you are feeling, who knows, he might share the same feelings you do to him. Its better to let it out then keep it in, and if he does accept your love, that's beautiful, congrats! But if he doesn't, life is life, nothing lasts forever, okay? Take care and move on, you'll find someone better, hopefully, your destined one.

Tell to him before it's too late cuz u may regret it later and same thing happened to my brother who thought of telling I love u to his crush and he was nervous and he told her but she said that she loves another man but she said that she don't wanna ruin their friendship and even my brother too . Days passed by, and she found that her boy friend is cheating on her with my brother's crush ( she is another crush of my brother but he still loves his first crush) so,my brother's 1st crush and my brother started dating for an year and after that they fell for each other so badly that he even forgot about his own lovely sister 😑😑😑 but they both said to their parents and their parents agreed cuz they want their children happiness and they finally got married 2 months before and I am sorry if I wasted your time by making u to read this whole damn freaking comment 😅 but I want to say only one thing that is if he says no to u means nothing will happen, find another guy who loves you more than his life rather than sticking to your crush who just wanna be your friend, I am sorry if I sounded rude but this the truth that u need to accept. Lot's of love from somewhere from( mars😂 ) india

This happened to me twice the first time i was leaving the gym, and this man who asked me out on a date to go back to his house for him to cook me dinner.. i was 16 he was a grown man late 30s.. so i rejected him which he didn’t like.. we were both in the gym some time after this and he saw me getting my coat on ready to leave so he left the gym before me and it was during winter so very dark.. he sat outside some distance away from the gym and was waiting for me to walk past.. i was supposed to be meeting my mum but she was late.. when i walked past him thats when he stood up and started following me.. When I started to walk faster so did he.. i could feel his breath on me even though i was almost running away from him at this point.. no one was around... luckily at the last second is when my mum appeared and he turned back round.. it was so scary.. i could feel him breathing fast trying to catch up with me.. only God knows what he would have done if he did catch up to me...
