My wife and I spent more than ten years homeless on the streets here in the richest country on earth and I know all too well that which you talk about. The looks people give you when they have no idea what your story is or why you might be in the situation you find yourself. Now it’s 8 years later and we have found a home but I will say this, I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything because it taught me so much about myself, and also my wife and I are still together. That’s after her going through the battle of breast cancer while we were homeless. The person you become on the way through the toughest times is who you were meant to be, and no amount of planning and scheming on our part will ever change that!
