I really don't know how I happened to come across this, but, it lifted me up from my sadness. You see, My name is Matthew and my wife's name was Aimee as well and we had 33years and almost 3 months of marriage together. She passed away a month ago. We are also of the Anabaptist faith. My advice to you is to treasure each other for you know not when God will call one of you home.

I attended one of these weddings. My friend was Methodist and married a Mennoite man. The music was beautiful and the reception was a sit down dinner and very delicious.

60+ years two naive kids met and a year later stood in her little country church and vowed to love each other until death should they part. May you continue to love each other for many years to come with never one doubt that you found the perfect mate that God intended for you. Finding that person is the greatest treasure ever. I love this! The Mennonite Christians know what's up! My husband and I came out of a Pentecostal church background and started visiting Mennonite churches, watching many of them on You Tube, and after a while we found ourself saying.... We really feel best in the Mennonite church! The family like closeness there, dedication of the people there, kindness shown, THEY FAR surpassed any other church we have been to. We are now attending a Mennonite church. When the LORD conviced me for the 5th time to start practicing head covering according to 1 Corinthians 11 with lot's of confirmations following, I was feeling led back to the Mennonite community. My husband who has priviously struggled to want to live for GOD, Has expressed just how happy he feels at the Mennonite church we recently went to the past 3 weeks. We both agreed we love it and want to stay in this kind of church. We thought we were always going to be in a Pentecostal church as the one he grew up in, but it just was not cutting it for us over and over. I am so thankful for Mennonite Christians in these days which we live.

Methodism is a Christian denomination founded by John Wesley. They are a mainstream Christian denomination that is widely seen across the world. Mennonites are a Christian denomination founded by a group of people who called themselves anabaptists. They would have similar beliefs on the trinity ect. But, it is culturally different in many ways. With that being said, both of our foundation is in Gods only begotten son Jesus who we both love. I am glad you found our video and I hope you were encouraged. :)
