This teaches many lessons. Having ended up without a home once in my life, I am familiar. This can show others that those people you shun or hate to look at were once just like you and me. It only takes one or two things at the wrong time or place to happen that can completely change a persons fortunes, but it can never change the person or their skills/talents. That man sitting on the corner could be an incredible poet, or a carpenter. He could be a war hero, a singer, or a mathematician. Most importantly, they are people, and we need to remind ourselves of that.

His worthlessness healing from the excellence of his piano skills just as the melody swarms in a big crowd. One by one they donate to the little cup someone else had placed and it begins over-flowing with money. And at the last note played by the keys, the crowd began to clap violently, cheering and whistling. The homeless man was greeted with great smiles by smiling men and women with tears in drowning their faces. "Beep! Beep!" (?!) The homeless man wakes up from beeping of cars in traffic. It was all dream, but a dream that inspired him to get help and return to his musical talents.

I think these listeners have been well served by changing their initial judgement of a homeless man's appearance and the talents the homeless could potentially possess. Indeed some homeless people do have great musical skills. Even if the audience realised later that they were pranked - it's a good prank and I don't think they'll be violated by feeling deceived in this case. My two pence.

Jeepy Trouble with your comment is, its not like they were told afterwards he wasnt homeless. Just seeing this on the internet wouldn’t change their perspective, especially since theyd know its for a good cause in the end anyways. I believe that the little girl had no idea who this person was. A homeless bum or an accomplished pianist, it didn't matter. He was sharing a gift and she, like all children who never had time to be taught to judge, was mesmerized. She sees an art, a gift. There's something to be said about innocence. Oh I’d stop in my tracks to hear this beautiful talented artist expressing beautiful soulful gorgeous playing in a heartbeat… I couldn’t walk past someone this magnificent… I work as an artist ( painter) but no way I could afford tickets to one of his concerts.. however , it wouldn’t surprise me if someone homeless has this beautiful ability.. so many people out there talented musicians living on the streets.. In my youth, I would think, "That guy or woman just gave up, and would rather do drugs or alcohol which has led them to their current status." However, I have come close to being homeless. Experiencing problems with my own life's struggles was shown, by the grace of God, how fine the balance is. Giving my life to Jesus, who has me on the street speaking of His gospel. Helping the downtrodden. Hearing some of their stories, which have nothing to do with drugs/alcohol or giving up. Bad health, death in the family, mental health, and oppression, to name a few. Be considerate of those less fortunate than you. Judge not, lest you be judged. Love your neighbor. We are all neighbors on this earth. Peace be with you, as the grace of God guides you.
