If anyone wants to know how a child can be abandoned by their mother feel free to contact my mother. She abandoned my brother and I when our father was in Vietnam. She left us in a locked home as a 6 month old and a 2 1/2 year old and decided to move almost 1000 miles away to Texas so she could be with a new man. We were nothing but baggage that interfered with her own partying and limited her abilities to have that fun. Luckily we were found by a family member that broke into the home, due to hearing us inside and crying. Just because a woman gives birth to someone it does not mean she is a mother.

She was completely emotionally and morally detached from her kids. Referring to them as "the brother and the sister" and "that little boy". @It`s okay. Shut up with all of that virtue signaling. I have two children that I'm raising right now as a single mother living in poverty and there is no way in this Godless world that I would abandon my children because of poverty or an annoyed, good-for-nothing boyfriend. American poverty is peanuts compared to the types of poverty we witness in less developed countries. But, even in the most impoverished land of "no opportunities" loving mothers still exist. After all, a mother is a mother, poor or rich. The only thing "truely evil" is all of the virtue signaling, patronizing BS you typed while not realizing that in order to spell truly you have to drop the 'e'. While you're at it, drop the pretense and bull. Quit being so empathetic to everyone's "sad sob story" that you fail to show empathy for actual victims who deserve your care and compassion. Little James and his siblings are the ONLY victims that matter in this story.

Fucking hell. Watching this video I decided to look a little more into the details of this case. The things that were revealed about what those poor kids went through is just heart breaking. Hog-tied, literally hog-tied and left in a closet for six hours after acting up. Being punched repeatedly by the boyfriend and the mother, and of course what we already knew about how they were left in the park and how James chased after his mom as she drove away and being run over. When she dropped them off in the park to abandon them, all three were tied up, hog-tied. And somehow the littlest one managed to free himself. And he tried to chase after his mother, the same mother who was leaving them for dead, only to get run over by her and have his body dumped in a lake her by her and the boyfriend. (Just typing this out, makes me sick to my stomach...) Those poor kids probably would have had more of a chance of surviving if he hadn't chased after her and they just stayed in that park. The issues she keeps bringing up with the kids peeing on themselves... thats a symptom of abuse. I also had a similar issue when I was a child. Diagnosed CPTSD. It can be a symptom of verbal abuse, physical, and sexual abuse. She even talks about it like "oh well he got in trouble for peeing on himself".... no kid should ever feel bad about that ever. Why would she be hysterical about a child when she knows he’s dead
@riceracm2 жыл бұрын
1:19:09 This hits hard for me because my dad used to do _exactly_ that…starting at the age of 6, when I would go to visit my dad after the divorce, he would purposely get me to turn my attention to something else, like ask me to find a different size shirt, then he would quickly and quietly hightail it out of the store. The first time it happened, I turned back around when he was maybe 50-100 feet away. I started panicking and running after him yelling something like, “daddy daddy, wait for me!” But he was just so much faster. I got to the door of the store right as I saw the taillights of his van disappearing into the night (it was like 9pm). I was so scared, with a feeling of dread, and tears streaming down my face. He came back a few minutes later and got me, laughing hysterically at my fear and pain, they were his favorite drug. Luckily, he started pulling that abandonment game so often, that us kids eventually weren’t even phased when he would take off. We’d just sigh, roll our eyes, and wait for him to come back. But he took special joy in tormenting me, my siblings, and even the occasional neighborhood kids. He would actually _brag_ to other adults about how he scared one of my little friends (also 6) so bad that he peed himself; he was particularly proud of that accomplishment. As an adult now, I can’t understand why other people didn’t say anything…like, who brags about terrifying children? Maybe they were just as messed up as he was, or maybe he played it off as a joke, or maybe that’s one of the reasons why he was constantly moving states….ugh, sorry for the rambling, it just hit me hard and sent me down memory lane…

Yea one thing that I've seen even in other cases where the parents were the ones to kill the kids, they at least feign desperation out being upset and anxious. This just is NOT how you act when your 6 year old son has been missing since you got up. Her entire demeanor is just .... I want to say she is a sociopath but usually sociopaths unfortunately display much more intelligence than this person has.... she is a few eggs short of a dozen that's for sure. But it's not an excuse at all for anything. Her choice of partner and chosen lifestyle is f****** sad and pathetic. I never realized actuality how many kids are growing up in terribly dysfunctional homes just like this all over the place and it's scary because they are the future and people like this are raising them. I don't personally have them and decided when I was a teen that I was not going to have kids, but I realize they are the future and it scares me to know parents like this are everywhere.

His grandparents are our neighbors so i called to see if he woke up early to get grandmas famous cinamon toast. Nope. But they were back at my door in under 20 seconds. I was frantic. I couldnt breathe. My mind was going crazy with scenarios. Then i think he realized it had gone too far and he popped up in the hallway. As soon as i saw that childs face a wave of.relief washed over me. My knees buckled and i fell to the ground sobbing. Its an on going joke between us now. He says he knows how much i love him based on how ugly my scream and my cry over him was lol. This was a matter of 5 minutes. 5 minutes. People like this make me sick. @shawnahathaway47626 ай бұрын
I know the exact feeling you're describing and I had the same physical reaction, fell to my knees. We were visiting my parents at their lake house. My 5 year old son went to the back of the house, where his toys were.. less than 5 minutes passed and he was too quiet so I went back there. He wasn't there. I ran outside (it was dark) and started screaming his name. Within 5 minutes I called the police, who showed up real quick. My whole family was walking around screaming for him. The front of the house had woods, the back was a lake. I was thinking of possibilities that were like knives in my heart. We'd banged on both neighbor's doors. One answered and began searching with us. The other was an elderly couple that didn't go to the lake much, their house was totally dark so we assumed they weren't there. At that point it had been about 20 minutes. 13 cops were there and I was driving in a sweeping motion back and forth under the boat dock. Then I heard someone calling my name.. I jumped out of the water and went running up the hill. A police officer was standing there with my son. I went to run to him and physically couldn't, I fell to the ground.. I assume it was adrenaline overwhelming me or something like that. Turns out, he was at the elderly people's home. Their 9 year old grandson was in town and my son was playing a video game with him - wearing headphones. The couple didn't have their hearing aids in and were in bed. My son had played with him the day before but we thought they'd gone home since they didn't respond. I swear I aged 10 years that night and even though it was over 25 years ago I'm crying typing this. My point is that our response must be how a mother that cares reacts. The one in this video is so detached and seems annoyed to have to be there. That is a demon.

If you dig deep into this case, it appears that she was sexually abused for years by her father (in Ohio) and became pregnant at age 12, which is how the abuse was discovered. That infant was relinquished. She was in and out of foster homes across 2 states until she was 18, but there's no evidence of any therapy or diagnosis of PTSD, behavioral disorder, etc. At 18, she aged out and was on her own. She says she tried to relinquish custody of her children to the state months before this happened, but, due to some red tape, it never happened. This is when the boyfriend started to convince her to abandon the kids. This was reported in multiple news sources, however there is no further information or evidence this is a fact. Authorities did know there was abuse weeks before the boy's death because both she and the boyfriend were arrested for child abuse. There is a 50-50 chance that ASPD is inherited...could (should?) have the state intervened based on her past (child welfare checks, etc)? was the state responsible for getting her properly diagnosed/therapy when she was a ward of the state? Is this another example of where state laws don't align with reality and red flags were ignored?

And another sad part is that this child still loved his mother enough to bother chasing her.

God, this comment hits so hard, My brother and myself are adopted 23and24 years old now, for the longest time my brother who is mid fuctioning autistic would try and find ohr mother, she couldnt take care of us because of a herion addiction so we were taken away at a very young age, a child will unconditionally love their parent until a certain level of maturity is obtained, i hurt so much knowing that him chasing an empty husk of a mother left him emotionilly and physically void.
