Isn't it frustrating when a toddler doesn't seem to want to play with toys? This is a fairly common issue for young children with developmental delays. Our first instinct may be to think that the child doesn't like the toy (or any toy!), but that's usually not the problem. Join pediatric speech-language pathologist Laura Mize, M. do you have any advice for kid who seems to be more interested on household object than toys? my son cause lots of mess and sometimes put himself in danger situation because he always want to do whatever mommy is doing without knowing how to do it right, if that make anysense. he play with toys sometimes but in a repetitive way
