Amber has done an amazing job of researching her character's emotions. Many people here have not experienced this level or type of betrayal before. It's odd how so many want to blame her when she is victim. How many people have endured a rocky marriage, an emotionally hot and cold husband, loss of baby you dearly wanted, tried to be a devoted wife, a caring friend to a woman you thought of as a younger sister, be let down constantly by your husband on the things that truly mattered like a name for your son and a house as provision if something happened to him; only to find that both of these individuals stood up in a church that you invited them to and perpetrated a complete fraud. Each of these acts of betrayal alone cause PTSD. Some people never recover. Fortunately, Amber's character is grounded in God's word. I pray that she allows that relationship to truly prevail in her character.

Now, do I think her karma came back long before this affair yes! And I definitely don’t think she deserved the betrayal from Shayla because like Amber or not, she was a GREAT friend to that girl and this was so uncalled for. But this marriage was doomed before it began. And had Amber loved herself enough she would have known from how he treated her with the Ro situation, this man was not the man for her but she cared more about being a “ wife” then actually being loved. She showed Ant how to treat her when she showed up on Ro’s door step begging and crying for him to come home. Idc who you are, no one should ever beg another to be with them. That is one of the lowest of the lowest self esteem moves to make. And if you don’t love yourself or respect yourself enough.. how can you expect someone else to do it? This is why it was hard for many to have sympathy for her because a lot of what happened to her stem from decisions she made herself. If someone wants to walk out of your life.. let them go! Ant filed for divorce.. he did it for a reason and instead of her acknowledging that she swept it under the rug… like a fool. This disaster is the snowball affect of that. You can Not make someone want you. Period. As far as the David situation. My heart goes out to her, no one should feel like she feels right now but this is something else she forced. Just like she forced that pregnancy. And GOD answered her with the miscarriage and she still didn’t get it. They shouldn’t have been even thinking about bringing kids into this mess of a marriage that’s only in the first year. But sometimes GOD will give you what you asked for just so you can see it wasn’t what you needed to begin with. Just cause you want it doesn’t mean your suppose to have it or ready to have it. Amber claims she prays a lot but can’t seem to hear the answers when GOD is giving them to her. She has a lot of self work and healing to do. Hopefully the writers that that route for her going forward and not the vengeance path.. it will only prolong her healing.
