We have a similar case in my Striketeam, a lvl 18 Veteran called "Ryan". We tried so hard saving private Ryan during the Maelstrom but he kept dying over over and over again at least 7 or 8 times. That poor guy was in pain but we laugh so hard and each time he goes down it was the end of the world, we forgot everything and dedicate all our might until Ryan rise again. Now since that story everytime we encounter someone who have a hard time we are like "Ryan ? Is that you ?". At least that guy tried to be cooperative unlike some speedrunners ... On a serious note : please don't go into damnation Maelstrom or Auric at low level except if you are really aware and confident of your skill and competence ! Or you will end up as a joke like Cesar and Ryan.

So the auric maelstroms I have done a couple, and you get a lot more rewards if you get through than the other missions. It seems like you can start any of these 'public' missions and people can join so I am more casual about it. Some people are putting lots of time in playing hardcore that part is fine . Its like the division 2 in some ways. You might talk bad about someone but other ppl also died or needed rescue. And you might need that 4th guy to get through the mission. Regular maelstroms are hard too starting out, but I like the game, and the community is growing but nice and small.

I'm currently leveling a psyker after 300hours of not playing it, must say being stuck in level 3 difficulty because of bad/newbie teammates was hard. So I got into damnation around level 20 to finally play with level 30 players with some experience, got dodged once but always end up being the last one standing when shit goes wrong, ironic.

If you are underlevel and squad up with someone who is lvl 30 and they queue for an Auric mission, then you'll be able to play Auric. It's quite the loophole that led to this vid being possible.

Agreed, i think the first thing you should judge is the skill of the player, but people who are both unskilled AND wielding subpar equipment can bring down the experience for everyone when joining difficulties above their skill level. I agree that ragequitting or writing insults is bad behaviour, but it’s not like i don’t get the frustration a high level player might feel when they see a “subpar” loadout, especially if the player wielding it doesn’t make up for it with good movement, aim, awareness and so on.

See, you say that, but do you have the scoreboard mod? Because 9/10 times they're doing about a third to a quarter what everyone else is doing. It's easy to FEEL like you're doing your part, but unless you go out of your way to get a MOD to verify(thanks for removing scoreboard FS) you can't really tell for sure if you're pulling your weight. That's the issue.
