Thats what I've always felt. Akshay becomes very conscious with camera. His dialogue delivery is very contrived. Whereas he in real life interactions is seamless with perfect voice modulation during promotions and stuff. He needs a good director to bring out this side of him. I think only Priyadarshan and David Dhawan occasionally were able to tap into this side of his. He has the talent, but a lot of directors nowadays don't get his brand of humor.
