Roy Mustang VS Envy easily trumps this fight. During the fight with Lust, Mustang was calm and collected. He is going for the kill but his judgment is definitely not clouded by vengeance. Fast forward to the Envy fight. Just the look on his eyes says it all. Nothing but ruthless aggression and the desire to kill. The final string of attacks were relentless and unforgiving. Even Lt. Hawkeye was scared of Mustang

if we are talking about flexing with Escanor, his fight with Estarosa is just a bigger one I think, Estarosas commandment being ineffective shows that Escanor doesnt just talk big but his heart is in his pride, he pities his enemies from the bottom of his heart so the commandment did nothing, vaporizing a lake, negating everything Estarosa does to him and even the fact that he isnt surprised that Estarosa hurt him knowing that its just his own attack is more impressive and a bigger flex than scaring one guy and burning a lady from the inside with his soul... could be wrong tho

great call on the Natsu arena fight. I would have overlooked it because it's fairy tail, but you reminded me that fight was incredibly hype. I recall it came after a timeskip/powerup, which made that moment drive home just how massive Natsu had become. It really was an epic flex.

I mean, there are a lot of different measuring sticks, right? Ozai's attacks were probably of a smaller scale than Madaras. And the stuff coming up in Fire Force puts it all to shame. Furthermore, Fairy Tail scales higher, even if it is worse. I'm even pretty sure Ozai would lose to Iroh in firebending, because Iroh can safely use lightning and Ozai can't.

Okay, is no one going to bring up just how much MORE of a flex Natsu pulled in that fight? At first, it was 2v2, Natsu & Gajeel vs. Sting & Rogue, until Natsu himself pushes Gajeel out of the arena. Fairy Tail action animation was on par with OP episodes that aired at the same time as FT. And FT also had similar fan service elements, such as ecchi and over the top facial reactions, which make it closer to OP than to Shippuden or Bleach.
