Love the kid on the ramp, watching, hands in pockets, wondering what kind of drugs those adults are doing.

You are right. I've got many hobbies, but learning to sail / boat- ramps got me learking 18 minutes.. 6meter sailboat is ok, but 8m fastboat ~ 56 seamiles ; 120 km/h qbe no skillb=in deathb/ getting cought by Russia ~ is normal..greetings from Lovisa, Finland ..

I fish at a boat launch in my state and the amount of stuff I see during the spring and summer is absurd!The sickening sound of props grinding against pavement is a daily occurance.

So the longer your a ships captain the more mistakes you're going to make....? Using that logic the least time you're a captain the less mistakes you'll make. .😂

Well he's a 100 ton "Captain" it's a learners license...

A master should refer to the vessel at 2:00 as "a ship". We both know it isn't a boat.

Takes a special kind of person to think nameing their boat the "Wet Dream" is in any way a classy move.

I can remember when cruise boats would let kids jump off the cruise boat into the water between the dock and the boat.in the Bahamas back in the late 80s. For tips Hello from Siesta Key Florida.

Don’t expect any form of intelligence from a JetSki operator. It doesn’t exist! 🤡🤡🤡
@davidbrayshaw352923 күн бұрын
In Australia, a jet ski license is an endorsement on top of your power boat license. Despite "extra" training, they are still the worst boaters on our waters by a country mile. The water police round them up like sheep.

Yo, BG. So you hold a 100T MMC. You don't sound like it. Large commercial vessels are called ships.
@karlbrundage747223 күн бұрын
Going to disagree about your hypothesis of "if you do this X number of times, eventually you'll have an accident" No. Like an Airline Captain, a ship Captain must be 100% competent, and therfore must be compitent and current (He/She is completly up-to-date and comiserate with the exigent regulations and instructions)
@matthewmillar380423 күн бұрын
I get what you're saying, but I just watched an interesting video about airline safety. Some things that have caused accidents are so unlikely, they are literally 1 in a billion. But, there's billions of flight hours flown, so that unlikely event will happen eventually. That said, I think even in the airline industry most incidents get traced to either incompetence or complacency. Agreed mindfulness and training are number 1!

Dear Capitan Bligh. When did a ship become a boat?
@ronbrock615323 күн бұрын
Can we perhaps refer to vessels as they actually are? The big things you called boats are ships or freighters.
