Syria never aided in the invasion of Iraq and it was never asked to do so. The objective of this meeting was to further isolate Saddam from receiving any aid or diplomatic support. The invasion was well worth it. Great swift overthrow of a genocidal dictator and we put a democratic government in charge of Iraq which is still in power today and they still have elections

@@TinLeadHammer Iraq was not invaded because of 9/11, it was invaded due to intelligence that suggested Saddam wanted to build ICBM’s. And that he had already begun doing so. That intelligence ended up being wrong but the invasion was still well worth it. End result is Saddam overthrown, and a moderate democratic government in charge of Iraq

But he was never denounced until March 2011, when al-Assad ordered his soldiers to shoot at unarmed people.
