He is, but he doesn't test that well and his strengths aren't things that are easily shown with test results. He has said that his official IQ score is 107 which is lower than some of the other members. However, Jin is the best at solving complex puzzles like escape rooms and an elaborate version of Mafia. Because people tend to go strictly by IQ scores, Jin doesn't consider himself smart but the other members know better and so does ARMY.

You believe it when he said his IQ is 107? He went to one of the top universities in Korea; he solves puzzles in run Bts episodes. No low IQ person would be able to do that. It requires good memory and thinking ability. He is a logical and strategic thinker. The only reason he might have said his IQ is 103 is because of his self-deprecating humor - he tends to make fun of himself. He is also very humble and modest so he probably has a higher IQ than those two members he was talking to but just didn’t want to appear arrogant if he told them his IQ score. Jin not only shows High IQ. Evidently, he also has very high EQ; SQ; and AQ.

Jin had to learn to dance snd sing in training. He found it hard and practiced every dance much more than the others. It took longer to learn so it stuck.

As Suga has mentioned before, he has an excellent memory. He says he remembers everything, so his encyclopedic knowledge is partly due to all the reading and research he does and partly due to being able to remember everything. Frankly, the ability to remember everything is a blessing and a curse. It can make it a little more difficult to move on from a bad memory.

Suga actually builds things. He does carpentry. He knows about building and interiors. I think I remember him saying he has completed projects with his dad. He is talented. Actually, Jimin, Joon, and Suga always have a book near by. They are intellectuals. Jimin was called a math God in school. He would substitute teach his math class. He is also a science/chemistry wiz. Robotics club. He graduated as valedictorian. He entered arts highschool as the number one student in academics and dance. He was that kid. The kid in school that is great at everything and the girls loved him. Over achiever. Athletic. Won awards, competitions. Beat his dance teacher in a dance battle. Called the rising star of Busan. Martial Arts expert in Korean, Japanese and Chinese styles. Class president for several consecutive years. He will also envision spatial relationships and help with the logistics of the choreography on stage. He adds little tweaks to choreo. He is extremely creative. His resume was really extensive before he even joined BTS. Bang was lucky to pick seven talented boys. He didn’t even know how talented they each were. It’s not like they were in a competition like I land. Jungkook is smart, but he is only interested in what he likes. So, he learns instruments quickly and like some geniuses, he loses interest and becomes bored easily. Taehyung is an eccentric genius. They are all so colorful.

Namjoon's puzzle with 2⭐3 = 9, means you do however many consecutive numbers listed from the right number, STARTING from the number on the left. So starting with 2, do 3 consecutive numbers (2,3,4) which add to get 9.

Love this convo about how intelligent the members are, and in different ways, great combos of IQ and EQ. Mostly echoing what others have said: Jin: got into and graduated from 4 year Seoul university that I think is pretty competitive, does super well in games like in RunBTS, practical skills Suga: writing: specializing in the literal, producing, trivia, lots of hands-on skills Hobi: detail-oriented dance genius, quickly took to writing (dad’s a lit prof) RM: IQ and EQ, writing: specializes in the abstract/philosophical Jimin: did really well in school, movement/choreo genius, high EQ Tae: out of the box thinker, artistic and creative, self-directed and independent Jungkook: catches on to new physical/hands-on talents/hobbies and absorbs/mimics everything very quickly

sounds fimlair I really can't be bothered to read music however give me a sheet of music and hit the first note on an a keyboard other instrustment and I can then sing the whole song by following the notes patterns on the sheet. For a very long time people thought I could read the music properly like what note is that errm sorry no idea. I can work out what the chords will be then play it once I've sung it correctly. When I compose I use my guitar then get my band mate to write out the music for the rest of the band.

Definitivamente los más inteligentes de BTS son RM y Jin.. Eso ha quedado demostrado muchísimas veces.. Luego sigue Suga.. Sus tipos de inteligencia son diferentes pero ambos ellos son increíbles... Jin es el único en BTS que fue aceptado en una universidad de prestigio sobre 200 dos meses antes de la selección de estudiantes y en dos universidades distintas le ocurrió lo mismo al mismo tiempo, pero el escogió la de Seul.. Ya lo dijo Suga en Suchwita, nadie es como Jin en BTS... Fue escojido para un intercambio en Australia cuando era un chico, no por que sí 💁🏻‍♀️, es el único con 2 carreras totalmente distintas, y Jk también lo confirmo cuando reclamo qué los otros equipos tenían ventaja por que tenían a RM y a Jin 😂😂😂... Jin también ha tenido siempre dominio en idiomas, solo que por ser introvertido no lo muestra.. Habla inglés muy bien, también mandarín, recordemos en el 2014, cuando fueron premiados, fue Jin quien dio la aceptación debido a su comprensión de mandarín, siempre ha demostrado que domina el japonés... El es reservado y no lo demuestra pero así es él. Suga tiene una memoria increíble y es un genio musical que es otro tipo de inteligencia... Ellos 3 son los más inteligentes sin duda alguna.

I don't know if you'd agree, cause sometimes (like Yoonjin the parents) I really do not agree with your standpoint. But! I think Vmin are smart, JK is really observant and gets things done perfectly given it's smth that interests him. So.. What I am trying to say is, the separation of hl from the ml by who's smarter is forced by the fandom and the co. Vmin are forced to represent that "teenage dream", they cannot behave too nerdy or analytical. Not hip. Not to say that some are smarter than the other, but just as separation by the age is forced in this band, so is the assumption that generally the hl are the thinkers. Jimin is smart af, that's why he behaves the way he does. That's why every other member is at his command if he needs anything. He knows how to play them. He knows what being a k-pop idol involves to the t, so he works it.

I honestly am slightly convinced the asian Entertainment doesn't let people with an average IQ in....xD After a whle in Kpop and BTS not only being the only one who have some with (over-)average IQs, as saw similliar thing in the Thai acting industry (I got there through randomly walking into a BL show) and them studying "Computer scinces and buinsess of the high kind!" I sighed (jokingly but honestly) "Can you all stop being so effing smart for a moment? It's really getting annoying " lol.
