I agree, the college admissions people or whoever it was that accepted the bribes, they are the ones who should be held responsible. In my opinion, accepting a bribe is worse than offering one. The people on the admissions’ board etc. are the ones whose job is actually about making sure that everything is fair and legal. So I think that this is mostly on them. Of course, Lori and the others made mig mistakes and should be punished, but to a lower degree (in my opinion). I also think that it was wrong of Hallmark to fire Lori before she has even been convicted. I don’t think it was Hallmark’s place to punish her. She will receive a punishment by the judge. By firing Lori, Hallmark doesn’t just punish Lori, but they also punish the series and the cast as well as the fans.

I feel Lori and Felicity Huffman were being singled out because they're celebrities. While I think they should pay hefty, and I do mean hefty fines (that can go towards a scholarship for less fortunate applicants) I don't see any purpose for their going to prison other than achieving big headlines for the prosecutors. And why aren't they holding the school more accountable? Other than the coach, no one else has been singled out, at least not publicly. This happened on their watch. They should have more responsibility in this than Lori or Felicity.

The reason you hear those two names is because they are celebrities, I doubt you would know the other people that are involved even if you did hear the names. The coach and the guy that was setting up the transaction are being held accountable, but the college didn't have anything to do with it. Look into how recruiting is done for athletes in colleges and maybe you will understand how the coachs got away with it for so long. The guy that was setting it all up was also paying people to take the SATs for these kids so that it looked like they were smarter than they were. Every parent that paid their kids way in is being held accountable but Lori thinks she is above the law.

I LOVE this show and will be happy to see it back on again. Lori will be missed greatly as Abigail was an important person being the Mayor, Part Owner of the Cafe and a mother. How all that can be reconciled without her will be difficult. I wish she would be exonerated so she could return to the show. I support Daniels decisions. I just wish they could’ve recasted. But the chemistry he and Erin has was unlike anything I’ve every seen. He also has a distinct (and handsome 🤭) face so it was be easily distinguishable. It just makes me upset that they planned the wedding and engagement knowing he was going to die. If he decided that after those had already happened I would understand their decisions a bit better. Either way I am devastated and completely heartbroken. I’ve been binge watching so they got married and he died all on the same day for me. So I’ve have been crying since it happened 4 days ago. The show it hard to get through now without Daniel and Lori.

They could bring him back with more of a role. I liked her chemistry with the little boy. She already seems to be a sort've foster mother to him. However, I doubt they would even focus on a romance for Elizabeth until that baby is over a year old in the story. So that would come later.

Her role in the show was the honest hard-working , never tiring glue that held the show together. She was everyone's tower to lean on. This may have been the result of a breach of contract. I believe most of their contracts include a clause that says that they will not get in trouble with the law. The show is a family show but in reality it is a business deal. Who knows, maybe they will invite her back after the case is finished in court. It is not appropriate to have her on the show while she is still hiding out from the paparazzi and hasn't gone to trial yet. If she gets through the court case and she is still marketable, maybe we will see Abigail again.

I found out about the show about a month or two ago well I saw it on Netflix and didn't want to watch it and out of boredom I decided to and I became hooked. When I discovered Jack character was written out I was upset and sad but slowly got over it. A few days later the scandal broke and I was like damn I wonder how badly this will affect her but still didn't think much of the show until they went on a hiatus that's when I knew it was really bad. I kept saying to my sister I think Hallmark is being too harsh on her considering the judge even the gave her the go-ahead to travel to continue working on the show so why fire her so quickly??? Every day I keep saying I'm anxious to see how the show will carry on because her character is one of the biggest in the show, all of the main character is connected to her so what will happen when they remove her? She's Elizabeth's Guardian angel from the moment she landed in coal/hope valley, She's Henry' moral compass, She keeps Florence calm, hopeful n in check after she starts to spiral when something is going wrong. What will happen to Cody and the cafe? Clara will now be the only Stanton left how will this affect her losing the only family she has.......I want to see how creative they will get without ruining the show

I liked Lori's role but she was only a small part of a BIG cast that will continue on without her. The program has had growing pains with the loss of cast members. However, getting to know the new ones is easy, thanks to the production crew and, of course, the full ensemble who take the time to warm the hearts of their audience with a wide range of emotions but always a smile in the end.

I realise a lot of people like to kick others while they are down especially when its someone who was in a better position or living a better life. When calls the heart teaches about seeing the good in others after they do wrong things, we see this over and over with Henry and other characters. Over and over it teaches us to be kind and forgiving no matter what yet nothing the show teaches was exercised by Hallmark when the scandal came out instead they disposed of her immediately by cutting ties all because they don't want to risk a backlash from bitter people for still working with her. We as people need to understand that we are all human and at some point in life we might end up doing something that puts us on the wrong side of the law, how would you want people to treat you and your family??? It’s sad her personal life will impact her character on the show. Seems to me choices, and consequences effect everyone. Which is sad because she was playing a role that was heartfelt and endearing to everyone who watched it. It shouldn’t change her being able to play the role to encourage the story and the help others struggling in very real life issues. The show gives us hope that when we make mistakes God is quick to forgive us, heal us, and help us to keep going. Sure, we will know in the back of our mind, that she messed up, but just like the city they live in “Hope” we all have hope that there is mercy, and grace given at a time when we lose sight of the right thing to do. Henry is a prime example he continued to make bad choices, and yet forgiveness, and grace kept calling him back to a better place!

I felt that way at first then when I thought about it I realized what she had done could’ve caused someone like my daughter or granddaughter not to be able to have that spot in college , that’s not right I think if she would admitted she was wrong,It would be different but acting like she did nothing wrong like she didn’t know… No she shouldn’t be on the show

If this was a regular job the same thing would have happened. She isn’t exempt from the law because she is an actress. She could go to prison for 40 years. How could you not understand that? This isn’t Hope Valley it’s the real world. Of course when we make a mistake God forgives us however we have to ask for forgiveness and repent. Lori and her husband aren’t sorry for what they did and feel that they didn’t do anything wrong. I don’t hat Lori or anything like that. However, when you break the law there are consequences and now they’re dealing with that.

I will miss Jack for sure. 😢 As far as Lori, I think Hallmark did the right thing. What Lori did is a disgrace. And, if she came back, I wouldn't watch the show anymore. It's a matter of principle in this situation. Sometimes people think they are above the law and can get away with being dishonest, etc. I feel sorry and sad for the hundreds of students who studied so hard and didn't get in because someone paid their way. I applaud 👏 you Hallmark for doing the right thing. There are plenty of other great actresses that can take her place and soon we won't even remember her anymore.

We have to be held accountable for our actions and face the consequences. The daughters did not even want to go to college. All of this could have been avoided if her ego had not got in the way. But looking forward to WCTH. I think the show will be just fine.

I wonder if she had instilled the value of an education when they were really young. Then again kid s do have minds of their own. If their grades was not up to snuff, all they had to do was buckle down and make them study or get a tutor! Who really knows what goes on with the rich and famous.

blame the daughters. They seem so spoiled that yeah the parents were stupid and made a mistake to make their children happy. Isn't that what being a parent is? I don't think Lori should lose her career over it when so many other celebrities have done SO MUCH WORSE yet they never lost a long standing career

Michelle Perry No that isn’t what being a parent is about. I’m SO glad my parents taught me about the importance of honesty and integrity. I worked my butt of in school I didn’t get into a Ivy League school but I got into a good school. I did it by myself without my parents breaking the law. This isn’t about what other celebrities or rich people do. Lori and her husband have to take responsibility for their actions. They broke the law and now they have to pay for it. I still love Lori Loughlin as an actress but the law is the law. People don’t understand that when they did this they took away so many opportunities from hard working young people. It’s not right what they did and now they’ll be help responsible for it.

I hope that sometime, hallmark will forgive Lori L. I think everyone deserves a second chance. I miss her on WCTH. I am hoping also, that there will be a way to bring Daniel Lissing back as Jack T. So far there just has not been the on screen spark between any of the possible love interests for Elizabeth (Erin K) like there was between her and Jack.

Really miss Lori. I wish they would have kept her on the show. She really added an important almost motherly relationship with Erin/Elizabeth. They had a great connection. I miss Daniel/ Jack as well. He and Elizabeth had such a chemistry, right from the beginning.

I was sad that Lori cheated so her daughters could get into good schools. What about the honest way. She had money to pay for an education and not cheat. That is not teaching your children to be honest and god fearing adults.

They need to bring Abigail back with the same actress. There have been many many actors that have gone to jail yet come out and continue acting. We can not stop loving a star because she commits a crime. Yes she needs to go through the punishment if she is found guilty. but if she does the punishment given by the court she then should be able to come back to the show. The one good thing is a whole lot of fans flooded the producers with messages of wanting Abigail back on the show.

I always been a fan of hallmark but the way they disregarded Lori Loughlin from WCTH, and even making Toby pay for it was disgraceful and unfair. So many other actors have made mistakes and committed crimes, drugs, alcoholism, adultery, scams, fraud, Etc. yet they've been back on the scene like nothing... I'm not saying what they did it's ok if they did it. But to what extreme are they taking it to? I hear 45 years in prison when I hear reposts and murderers spend 3 or 5 years and they are let out through parole. Lori is been accused and not even proven guilty. And seems to me she is being picked on and condemning her life without any regards of grace and God's love and family oriented that Hallmark is been standing for.

I absolutely love this show, never miss an episode(Thank God for DVRs). It's such a change from all the violence on TV these days. Sadden by Jack's death and even more about Abigail(Lori). I've watched Lori on tv for so long, she always seem to have a very wholesome look and attitude. Really hated to see her go.

The show can survive. It almost feels like the ground work was potentially being laid for losing another big lead. If we didn't have Pascal and Kavan's characters, I don't know if the show would have enough backbone. Also, just because Lori is gone, doesn't mean we have to lose her character's DiL. I do wonder what it means for the lad who plays Cody.

Jami Dixon The series is actually called ”When Calls The Heart” and it’s based on a novel of the same title, written by Janette Oke. I don’t know why she chose to use the title ”When Calls The Heart” and not ”When The Heart Calls”, but I’m guessing it was to make it sound more old-fashioned, since the story takes place 100 years ago.
