When I was about 10 playing on a patch of grass with pals, I slide over a piece of metal buried in the ground, sliced my leg open like butter, sock covered in blood, got up, walked with my pal to get his dad who ran me home, then I went to hospital. 7 stitches over about 3 inches of open leg right down to the bone. Never cried once, was playing next week with stitches and padding under my shin pad. Nani was pathetic, thought his season was over, don't make me laugh.

@OmrRed9211 ай бұрын
Certain jobs are not for everyone. Being a footballer at the very top requires a lot of mental fortitude. You can't cry because of a tackle playing for a club as big as Manchester United. Especially in a game where they're facing their arch rivals. That is simply not acceptable. There's a reason footballers get paid those amounts & it's not just for their talents. To be recognised as one of the best, a lot of sacrifice is needed. If not, then even with all the talent in the world, that career will be cut short. The same applies to most high paying jobs btw it's not just sports. That is why it is very important to educate teenagers about career path choices in high-school. Chasing the dream job could very well be a nightmare in disguise for those who don't have the mental capacity for it.
