this is real even in lacrosse, i play defense and coach was so mad the next day at practice blaming defense when on the offensive side 2 girls on my team were hogging the ball, getting 1 yellow card, 1 red card, and then trying to do shots with their bad hand with no nearby defense on the opposing team

For real, the coaches always be blaming the defenders and it is not fair like it is so annoying like once we lost the game because our striker literally missed a goal that was practically completely open and our coaches still blame the defenders
