Problem with Conor is, Dana keeps him for main events and big fights every once a year or two. He knows Conor is the money fight and doesn’t want to let that dwindle down, but Conor NEEDS to knock the rust off his shoulders. He isn’t active. He’s being held on the bench because of money and being fed to guys that are active. It’s all on ol Uncle Dana.

@Xnigma Dude you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about LOL his only losses in the light weight division are to two people who are in the top five. Do you know what the top five means? He lost to Khabib and Dustin Poirier LOL other than that I mean I don’t see how you could say that he’s not a good fighter LOL like what the fuck
@Swahyan3 жыл бұрын
Saying LOL that many times really does not prove your point
@InTuGuru3 жыл бұрын
@Xnigma And to answer your question yes we will go down that road LOL, go back and watch his fight with Khabib watch his fight with cowboy and watch his fight with Dustin. And tell me he is not elite. He ran through cowboy like a fucking freight train. Granted that was at 170, but still. And it was at the Tail end of Cowboys career. But still. Nonetheless we all know Cowboys a fucking beast. Also, his fight against Khabib was Khabibs toughest fight to date. Conor McGregor actually is the only person that has ever won a round against Khabib in the UFC at the time.Granted he still lost yes, but for him to last the way that he did and for him to defend the way that he did goes to show how good he really is. Because nobody else has really been able to defend the way thatConor defended. Now I understand that everybody assumes if you’re a Connor fan that you’re just a casual fan. I get it. I understand people think he’s overhyped and he’s a shitty fighter who just wins because of his mental warfare. But we all know that that’s not true if we sit down and really watch what this guy is capable of. Go and watch the Dustin fight both of them. The first one and the second one. Even in the second fight Connor was giving Dustin a hard time and Connor was figuring him out, yes Connor did not anticipate the calf kicks but that doesn’t mean he’s not elite. That was his only downfall in that second fight. He wasn’t guarding the calf kicks early enough. Other than that I feel like he was doing just fine. Dustin killed his leg early and that determine the outcome of the fight. More power to Dustin by the way I am a huge fan of that dude, I’m also a huge fan of Khabib as well. I just feel like because of Connors reputation everybody chooses to hate on him and nobody gives him the credit that he deserves. And it’s been like that his entire career. The Connor hate is unjustified . And to answer your other question yes I am a MMA fan, I train, I’ve been watching since 2004 so I guess you could say I know a little bit.

im not really a conner fan but the dudes still a beast. like when he fought khabib and after 2 rounds of getting drained of all his energy having no pop in his punches and getting messed up on the ground connor still came into the third round with his arms open telling khabib to bring it again. Even if you dont like the dude you gotta respect him.

I think Connors hunger to be on top is what drove him so hard in the beginning. Now that he made it, I think he’s taking it in and letting go of the cocky persona. Losing the fight, starting a family and getting older humbled him. There’s nothing wrong with sitting back and enjoying the life u built.

Conner is a legend in its on way. Almost every men or women loses sometimes in sport and life. He spoke a lot but he also won. He is confident, mentally strong, healthy and is a millionaire. Everyone talks but everyone pays and want to see him fight. Win or lose he continues to win. Take care of his famiily so he has done a good job.
