I refused to open my door for cops and they THREATENED TO BREAK THE DOOR DOWN. ALL BECAUSE and after I filed a complaint against an officer for lying under oath in Court. The SAME OFFICER came to MY HOUSE. I went to court and filed a motion on the same docket, and the judge ordered the police to stop harrassing me 3 days prior to this intrusion. And when I cracked the door there were 10 cops on my porch who slammed into my door and made me fall backwards (I'm 4ft 9 he was 6 ft 5) and all the cops came in and I told them to get the fuck out and they ignored me. They stayed for over an hour arguing with me. FOR NOTHING!! THEY HAD NO REASON TO BE THERE. I filed another complaint, and the lieutenant said they did NOTHING WRONG AND DROPPED THE COMPLAINT. THATS what happens in NH EVERY TIME you file a complaint. And they REFUSE to release the body cam footage saying they ONLY HAVE BODY CAMS FOR COP SAFETY NOT THE SAFETY OF THE PUBLIC AND I HAVE NO RIGHT TO GET THE VIDEOS!!!!
@donpeeples45732 ай бұрын
@@angela.marie. You probably should have seen a doctor, and complained of an injury. Even minor. Then file civil suit. Discovery for the suit would require the bodycam video be produced. Legal council for the cops would advise a settlement be offered, Because (not aware of NH civil law) if jury saw and ruled (and jury determines amount of compensation) the civil entity responsible for the cops could be paying out considerably more. And yeah I know, lawyers cost money, but if they filed suit and got to see the video evidence, they might proceed on contingency. as happyinparis states, we seem to be living in a police state.

I believe that most of the time, what judges see in court are just plain ol' ordinary dumb criminals. They come before the judge, they are guilty, they get sentenced. How many of the people who have their rights violated by police will take legal action against the police? And if they do, it's usually civil court, not criminal court. And if the judge is working hard to keep their court cases from piling up into a tsunami mountain, they don't have time to watch videos about court cases. In fact, if we want judges to be objective, they shouldn't be watching TV or streaming news or videos, or reading articles, about court cases. ESPECIALLY because the news media usually get their facts wrong about what's going on in court. Many judges hate the news media for this reason.
@imnotmike2 ай бұрын
@@EXROBOWIDOW You don't even have the option to bring criminal charges against criminals. You don't just get to decide to file criminal charges and that means you get to take it to court. You can call the police and fill out a police report, but for criminal charges to be filed and brought before a judge, first a detective has to investigate the case and recommend prosecution, and then a city or district prosecuting attorney has to review the case and choose based on the recommendation and evidence presented to pursue criminal charges. You have no say in it. And they're never going to take a case against a cop. So there is no avenue for anyone to bring these kinds of charges in front of a judge. The best you could ever do is a civil case. The only way this gets in front of a criminal court is if the cop is trying to bring criminal charges against you. I've had cops do that exact same thing to me multiple times in my life. I once had a cop push his way into my house, pull my arm behind my back and hold me there while his buddy went upstairs, broke the door into my bedroom, and then the door into the master bathroom, to "check" on my wife who was naked in the bathtub after having too much to drink, because he claimed a neighbor thought he saw me beating her through a window. Sadly, there's really nothing you can do about it.

They sent one to the door with shorts and a T-shirt nothing on that showed he was an officer and had him knocking, never announced he was the police, while all the rest stood in the back and sides of my home all uniformed. Fortunately I have an elaborate security camera system covering my entire property that they thought they were out of view of, but failed to see the cameras that wasn't attached to my home that covered all the remaining blindspots. I could hear them talking, telling each other to be careful the cameras was activated (which they always are because they're hard wired not wireless) anyhow I just sat here in the house continuing to watch them on my monitors. After about 20 minutes of them knocking I noticed a lady pull up and she got out and yelled "y'all are at the wrong house he lives down there" pointing down the street. They immediately jumped in their cars and rushed down there. I don't know wtf was going on really don't care, but I hate to think of how I would of been treated if I would of opened the door.
