American police are allowed to lie to suspects as well. Your best bet with the police interrogating you is stick to your right to remain silent, and say you'll no longer be questioned without a lawyer. There are cases of police getting false confessions from people they pressure during interrogations that go on an on. Too many people that are innocent feel like they'll look guilty demanding a lawyer. It is the smartest thing to do.

Jennifer Pan’s case was a HUGE case. Numerous shows like Deadly Women have covered it.
@MyLadyPanda2 жыл бұрын
I read about her case several times. I'm honestly surprised she didn't snap and kill her parents sooner. Kids can only take so much pressure. And when they're unable to cope (as Jennifer was since she wasn't taught that kind of thing, sink or swim) they just lose it.
@PhoenixRising872 жыл бұрын
@@MyLadyPanda What's often left unsaid is that cases like Jennifer's are more common than people think; they just usually end with the kid killing themselves rather than their parents. And of course, after that, there's a ton of tears, and sympathy for the kid, and the parents boo-hooing like "OMG how could this happen?" It's like the kid's psyche only matters if they're gone forever.

#2 kinda pissed me off because a lot of children grow up in this bubble where when their parents pass away they will be left some sizable amount. The reality is not everyone is that fortunate. Many parents simply do not have much as far as money or anything of real monetary value to leave especially if you're not an only child & even if you are that's still not a given. To bad this woman didn't realize that.

I have to laugh at today's question. 🤣🤣 I moved back to my mom's house after she had a stroke. My wife and I help all the time. I say laugh because I was the oldest child of three and my parents were tough with me (in a good way) I moved out on my own at 18. So imagine moving back with post stroke mom 38 years later. I was the right thing to do. My house was paid for, kids moved out and we had no particular attachment to our possessions. Almost four years after my mom's stoke she's doing pretty well. Way better than a nursing home would have been. She had to have round the clock care in the beginning. It helps that my wife's career was as a CRMA in various nursing home type facilities (another reason for us to move back TBH) so mom got pretty good care at home basically free. One thing it's done is made me less likely to call someone names online for living with parents. Well, unless they're freeloading. I pay bills with my own money. Don't know why I typed all this. I almost never get personal online. 🤔
