Gets even better once the humans got their hands on the unfiltered Super Soldier Serum from the Gray-types. Bit of a trying to put the genie back in the bottle, trying to restrict humanity to the non-physical godhood version that required major exercise and such for less benefits. Loved when the ex-explorer chick started selling blood transfusions for drinking money to anyone who wanted to become immortal and invincible. Absolutely hilarious that the spots she’d relieved herself on that one world while headed to the evac site became a biosphere collapsing line of rot, because the planet was wholly incapable of handling human gut flora.

33:09 That's bullshit. Humans are omnivores. Yes, we are evolved (a better term to use than "designed") to eat meat. Not exclusivly or even primarily, but we are evolved to eat meat. And yes, we actually can eat raw meat, though it's unwise to eat it in large amounts since after thousands of years of preparing meat before consumption the tolerance of our digestive system for raw meat has significantly decreased. It's fine if humanity has collectivly switched to a vegetarian diet in the setting for moral reasons, it's fine if humans in the setting have lost the ability to digest raw meat, but saying it's because humans are not evolved to eat meat is just bullshit.
@Shamelesscritique1Ай бұрын
He's lying...he also lied about his "clan" or "tribe" name...it's pretty obvious he's playing harmless and dumb. Ya know what the big problem with the "we evolved from predators so we're badasses" stories is? Being a herbivore or not being the top of the food chain doesn't mean you're harmless or not aggressive or incapable of horrific violence. Elke and moose will fuck you up, hippo's kill and injure more people than crocodiles and alligator's, casually walking into a field with horny or angry bull is just asking to get crippled or killed...bison, water buffalo the list goes on and on...hell even swans and gease will attack and fight something twice or three times their size with little hesitation. Humans aren't even impressive predator's biologically...if life was an RPG game we'd be a weird glitch or exploit build with high intelligence and stamina stats but little else.
@tranquilthoughts7233Ай бұрын
@@Shamelesscritique1 Did i say anything even close to "we are predators therefore we are badass"? I was just annoyed that there apparantly still are people that bring up this most stupid of stupid arguments for a vegetarian diet the "we aren't even evolved to eat meat" bullshit argument. And yes, technically humans aren't even really predators on a biological level. We were more scavangers and maybe carrion eaters. We only became predators (or at least succesful predators) after we developed tool use. Wether or not he's lying i'm not so sure about. I should say that i haven't listened much further than minute 35 at the time of writing this comment. And the whole "clan" and "tribe" thing i actually attributed to the translator having difficulties translating the human concepts into something the alien would understand. If that turns out to be the case i'd gratulate the author for bringing some realism into the situation. Because many authors just have their universal translators work perfectly without giving any consideration to how difficult it really is to translate a language into a different language.

We understand that but when you’re involving humans, you still have to stay with reality now if you wanna make up a race and they do whatever lock yourself out that’s as bad as saying what they’ve been saying about men and women today it’s dumb.
