My dude, look up the definition of socialism. Last time I visited there were still privately owned businesses, right? 😂

@@MFZ0dd you're thinking of communism. But even the US is a capitalist country but it's not completely capitalist. There are social programs and infraestructures. You can lean more towards one way or the other on the political spectrum. In Portugal's case we lean more socialist. I would know, I pay almost 40% in taxes (yes it hurts)
@MFZ0dd6 ай бұрын
@AaAa-uq5tp Nope, I didn't think of communism "Socialism is a social and economic doctrine that calls for public rather than private ownership or control of property and natural resources. According to the socialist view, individuals do not live or work in isolation but live in cooperation with one another. Socialism is based on the idea that common or public ownership of resources and means of production leads to a more equal society".

@@MFZ0dd while that's true for a lot of things here (think water services and social programs and things of the like), socialist is one of the steps towards communism where even homes are not privately owned. We very much have private companies and property here. That's why I said we lean more socialist

Almost 30 years ago I was told that I needed to find a new job - mine had been reserved for females and minorities. I was a white male working for the federal government. Management actually said that "qualifications" were no longer considered important. This referred to safety positions dealing with life and death. Many of my friends were told the same. And our children were also discriminated against due to their color and or sex.

I like your way of taking position, very moderate even when speaking about Palestine and stuff. It's not easy to do such comedy/drama videos and not taking too drastic positions on stuff, good
