If you can find it, Viva Variety is an obscure show from the 90's featuring a few of the cast members from Reno 911! and it's really funny. If you want something hilariously absurd check out I Think You Should Leave. I'm also a huge fan of Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones. These are all shows that have made me laugh hard just like Reno 911! Hope this helps!

The prison guard with the shotgun is priceless, doesn't have any lines except the simple "mmm mmm" and shake of his head, his expressions are just everything LOL. And their excitement at Dangle's announcement of the department's new automated suicide hotline brings so much joy to the staff :)

It's funny because they don't beat the point over your head. It's meant to be inferred from their faces. Another show would have had a stupid reality show cutaway scene with Junior saying "OMG I gave sperm at that place what if the kid is mine???!?!? " to the camera so the slow ones could get it.

I tried working as an operator on the suicide hotline where I live, but was fired because half the time I agreed with the callers. I was like, I have a job and a girlfriend and I'm barely keeping it together, so I can see why you want to end it.
