A small note to Sree on Karakoram. What’s close to Daulat Beg Oldie is the Karakoram Pass... that’s NOT the Karakoram Highway, which is another 200+ km further west. Military talks for status quo ante not for only troop reduction. Since May 5th we can’t patrol up to finger 8 , we can’t patrol approximately 20 to 25 kms inside Depsang plains , in Galwan valley Chinese are so close to DOB Road that it’s useless Road now. It is correct to say that germany was redrawing borders in central europe prior to ww2, but so too was the soviet union, in Finland and then in Poland for example. You can get free satellite data from 1972 onwards - although spatial resolution vary.! The only thing is to get some basic satellite processing which is inexpensive. You can even involve some academia ( student projects) to go into some depth!!👍

Abhijeet , No regards for Nehru but don't you think that both BJP Prime Minister's got the same level of dagger back as Aksai Chin incident? Bajpayee in Kargil. Modi in Galvaan. And BJP is trying to eye wash their failure. I mean, if someone is fooled in a Blind Faith his deeds other than Blind Faith are not to be downplayed.
