I’m 17 and started coding at 15. I just was programming websites and have some game dev experience, and till now I studied all by myself. But... I DIDNT KNOW ALGORITHMS AND DATA STRUCTURES EXISTED TILL THIS SUMMER 😭. I wish I’ve started learning DSA at that time. Project based stuff are no use as experience for competetive programming appart from knowing how to program well

Me too, Competitive programming is a hole new world, it opened a new doors for me, and I learned that their is much more to programming then designing some website and writing games, and hacking NASA :) so now I am putting much effort to master the art of CP!

Most people start early but it might be better to start late because youre more prepared to brace the concepts.

I started when I was 14 I used to code only simple websites and some array problems but I left it for a year and two.I am going to start again in summer.I know web development with javascript now I have to learn a framework and backend programming.If someone want to excel in problem solving field then they should start early.In case of development starting late helps.
