Booker will never learn to be humble. He said "Jokic can score 50 all he wants as long we win" implying he is selfish. And Joker wept floor with him next 2 games.
Booker is a little arrogant for my liking, that being said he was definitely not implying that at all. Him saying that was they just care about winning, and their game plan was probably to limit his teammates and let him score. I believe in the Playoffs the Nuggets were 0-3 when Jokic scored 40 or more.

Young people have no idea how good Jokic is. He is like a less athletic Larry Bird. His jumper is launched from the highest point just like Bird. He’s almost as good a passer as Bird. And he’s a better rebounder. Just watch him…Jokic actually boxes out. He is just an incredibly fundamentally sound player that makes everyone around him better. Very high basketball IQ and sees the floor like he has eyes in the back of his head. He’s one of the few players in the league that has ridiculous stats despite the fact that he’s not a primary ball handler…just like Larry
@randygraham926 Жыл бұрын
Jokic more like a combo of Magic Johnson, Dirk and Moses Malone. Bird and Nikola actually play very differently on the court. Bird was a real wing player; Nikola a real center but with Magic Johnson skills running the offense. He's not quite as good as any of those 3 at their specialties -- but no one combines them in one player like he does.
@terrenceolivido7419 ай бұрын

@Red4350 Жыл бұрын
@@hitmanl520 there a difference between just passing the ball and making it easy for your team ...
@blazefactor6849 Жыл бұрын
@@hitmanl520 Here's the thing though, his teammates are able to pull out such consistent shooting in large part because Jokic is the one passing. The amount of sheer gravity he projects onto the court frees up so many more clean shots than just about anyone else in the League, and his passing gives them plenty of time to take advantage of it. Sure, the rest of his team is pretty good, but without Jokic, their offense goes from absolutely dominant to below average. They aren't a super-team, they just look like one because Jokic is giving his teammates the keys to the kingdom.
@deankaufman6670 Жыл бұрын
I think Jockic is the best passing center ever. If he wins another championship, I will consider him to be the best big man.
@randygraham926 Жыл бұрын
Probably already the best passing center. The crazy part is how effective he is running the fast break. Wes Unseld and Bill Walton were great outlet passers but those guys were not going to run the fast break themselves. He's doing Magic Johnson stuff from the center position, which is wild. Best big man ever? You still have Chamberlain, Russell, Hakeem, Kareem ... and a healthy Bill Walton to consider before you give him that. Some would throw in Shaq as well. If he plays another 6 or 7 years at this level .... 🤔 it would be pretty mind blowing.

Revenge for what? He won that night, he had no injury, the beef was between Markieff and him, and he put Markieff out of the game for half a year recovering from whiplash. In all of Joker's subsequent games there was no Markieff since the Heat let him go after that season. So who exactly was he getting revenge on? BTW, Jimmy yelling "Let's take it out back" wasn't to Joker, it was to one of the Nuggets assistant coaches who had shoved Jimmy during the incident, and Jimmy had shoved him back. Watch the whole incident so you can see. Jimmy himself has said his beef had nothing to do with Joker. Plus, lastly, Joker apologized after the incident, said he took it too far. This video is just cheap narratives.

Gary Payton III may not have meant any disrespect -- could have been a cultural misunderstanding. 😂🤣 Morris brothers have a history of cheap shots -- so the payback was well deserved. Jokic took care of Miami and Jimmy in the finals -- so seems like everyone has moved on. Why did Jimmy have the entire team with him if he planned to fight Nikola by himself after the Morris incident? 🤔🙃
