Arale is a gag manga character, she is an android who runs on gasoline she drinks from a bottle, and she is so strong a simple punch from her can crack the planet in half. Also the reason there are dinosaurs and other types of prehistoric creatures running around is because of events in Doctor Slump.

The voice acting is awful and the script is terribly adapted but so yeah it’s sooo well done. And no, I’m not a sub purist, it’s just that in latinamerica we got an actually good dub unlike you guys.

I think it would be fine to watch dragon ball Z Kai for you, you might miss out on some really funny episodes (like goku needing to get his drivers license) but you will get less filler and a more streamlined experience! Anyway love to see your take on dragon ball! My real rake though is that you should just read the manga (dragon ball AND dragon ball Z) which I think are the superior ways of experiencing DB but I get it that most people like the visual and audio experience which comes with the anime's.

I just started watching dragon ball in general and I watched a bit of Kai before watching the og series I would recommend it but you have to watch the buu saga in og as it’s not there

All fillers in dbz are either created by Toriyama or approved by him, so dbz is basically directors cut. Gohan training arc for example is vital for his character. Anime also fixes a lot of manga mistakes

The reason People Recomend Dragon Ball Z Kai is because is the most Manga accurate Versión of the series,With No Real Filler And Remade Voice acting,with also Making the dialogue more accurate to the Japanese Dub Because the OG Dragon Ball Z english Dub Made Goku Very,very out of Character,it made him way too much of a Superman/Savior of The Universe type of character,which he really ain't

the reason why so many people are Asking to Change to Japanese sub is not out of voice preference but that the early English dub *heavily* change the dialogue to fit the American audience of the time. An example I can use is that in this video General Blue when in actuality he was actually homosexual Things like that were later fixed in video games and dragon ball z kai

Honestly, throwing aside any opinion based arguments between Z or Kai, Kai is an accurate representation of the characters and their dialogue. Original Dub of Z had a lot of mischaracterization and lines that were basically just made up instead of translated, leading to a lot of misinformation and confusion about what is and isn't true about the characters, their thoughts, and the lore as a whole. This is coming from someone who grew up on Original Z Dub and enjoyed the Faulconer Team's soundtrack. My nephew and I have been watching Dragon Ball Kai Recut. A fan-made project that cuts any filler that wasn't in the original manga. I didn't choose it for puritan reasons, I just wanna catch my nephew up as quickly as I can so we can enjoy the games together. Overall, I'd recommend Kai over Z so you don't get confused about the characterization or what is and isn't true.

if you prefer the english dub dont switch it, every lanuage's dub of og dragon ball i know of is great in terms of kai vs z kai has no filler (wich take a lot of time in z) and is far more manga accurate than z wich took a decent portion of creative liberties with the source material (especially with goku's character, he was shamelesly turned into superman by both the dub and sub) but i will admit the z version of the saiyan saga is unpararelled its filler elevated the story into a new level but everything past it i'd personally suggest you watch kai also my favourite opennings with bias are: 1) the greek openning for og db and z 2) the gt openning 3) the daima openning

I suggest dragon ball z because the voice actors are the same as the dragon ball voice actors in the English dub so if you like these voice actors you should watch z

If you were watching in japanese then it would be completely up to you if you want to watch original Z or Kai, however since you are watching the english dub i highly recommend kai, the original Z dub is nostalgic for many fans including myself, but its also filled with several mistranslations and inconsistencies with the manga/jp dub, Kai is a MUCH MUCH more accurate translation as far as the dub is concerned, and all the voice actors are just way more experienced so the performances are overall better.

Whoever is telling you to switch the JP dub is hung up on their preferences. The ENG is fantastic and is one of the best dubs in anime. I would 100% go with Kai, but I'm not going to get into any arguments lol.

Yes, and the sub is fantastic. I wasn't saying the sub is bad, or one is better than the other. I'm saying that they're both great options, and whatever Sky prefers, is completely okay.

Trust me watch Kai it’s is so much better stay in the English dub and you will have to watch the buy saga in the og version as there’s no legal way to watch the Kai version other then buying it physically and the buu saga part is much worse then the rest of Kai

If you're watching in English, there is genuinely no reason to watch the Original English dub over DBZ Kai's dub. The original dub completely changes the characters, and frankly the quality of the writing or voice acting is very low. (also the score lowkey sucks ass)
