Eli tomac will go down as one of the all time greats. 3 straight outdoor championships, and 1 supercross title. (hopefully a second this year) 6 daytona wins and 5th on the all time wins list. People say dungey is the last of the “dynasty riders” like MC, Ricky and Villopoto, but Tomac certainly took that spot in the limelight once they all left. Hell, dungey retired flat out because of the hell that Tomac gave him his last year in 2017. He was contracted through 2019 i think. Goes to show how crazy this dude is on a bike! Edit: He won his second title in Denver this past weekend, ushering him into the title rankings (2) of James stewart, chad reed, and Cooper Webb.

And that track was BRUTAL. They don't let them get this gnarly anymore for some reason. When I was younger I raced Millville all the time, and it always sorta pissed me off how smooth the track was for the pro race because how absolutely destroyed it was for any average amateur day, because when you have 1,000 amateur bikes vs 80 pros, it just doesn't break down the same. This track was like 1,000 amateurs had been on it. Makes it even more impressive to me, probably also part of why he was able to stretch it out so far. yeah but you gotta remember the overall skill/speed gap between the fastest and the slowest pros is significantly smaller than it was.
