When I was growing up, if we were out in the yard screaming "bloody murder", then there better be a "bloody murder" happening. I have a neighbor, several houses away, whose kid screams like that all the time. I wonder how they will know if she is hurt or in danger? When it's suddenly quiet? No, I haven't gone to visit them.

If I had ever acted that way my mother would have gone ballistic on me for real because young ladies weren't supposed to behave like that - back then. I don't even think the term "young ladies" is allowed anymore.

With the McDonalds employee, why didn't he just ask to speak with her supervisor straight away, or go inside to talk to the supervisor? It's his own fault for continuing to argue with her, there's no getting through to people like that.
