MNK is viable in ALGS. They'll need to add tap strafing on controller and aim asist probably should be nerfed by 10% or so.

Also people won't work towards these mechanics because what ultimately leads to winning isn't being flashy. It's matters way more making high IQ plays.

@@thesix4176nothing Yukaf did there was flashy. It only looks flashy to controller players. The tap strafe left to close the door(avoided taking damage). Wall bounce tap strafe backwards(faster than just turning backwards). Fatigue jump for PK shots(avoids taking damage while creating good shooting angles). I could literally explain why everything he did there was necessary and not flashy

Ping gives you a crazy advantage though. If someone tries to run behind cover, you can still see them for 150 extra ms. It’s annoying to fight

@@Neon1880 nonsense. You also get shot when you are behind cover for same delay. But on high ping you can't win any contest e.g. the enemy will always pick up the item in a 50/50 off drop. There's no advantage its just annoying for both teams fighting, and u at disadvantage sometimes too

It's just the worse input device and nothing that bridges that gap (with he notable exception of gyro controls, which imo aren't utilised enough) actually requires player skill, it just hands them an advantage

Finally someone in ALGS that utilizes movement. holy shit it's half the game and NA is like Sweetdreams. Sit and shoot and rely 98% of your game on positioning and aim. Which is great, but the skill ceiling for movement is higher than the skill ceiling for aiming, because the abilities you can do in this game with authentic legal mouse and key inputs are not predictable, and highly effective. Especially since nobody in the NA ALGS ever has to fight people like faide, xylas, or treeree, since nobody in NA moves more than a wall bounce. Or a super rare super glide.
