i love a great variety of sports, but football/soccer is the most beautiful, in that the bar to entry is the absolute lowest- it's not required you come from money, you must just show hard work and dedication. so the kids even from bad situations, when you see the hope in their eyes... you know there's a big dream to someday be like their heroes which they worship... you know seeing their heroes play, and especially meeting them like this, that it really builds them up and motivates to push. these interactions mean the world to the smallest fans, and inspire beyond our comprehension. i love these acts of kindness so much- this sport is our greatest unifier (and at times divider, haha).
