"grass" isn't too far off, although "r" isn't pronounced like that in french (but you can't expect all native English speakers to be able to pronounce it correctly). But "coup" is pronounced "koo" and not "cuh" or "cup" much less "cut" 😂

Garen's e actually scales with crit damage, so infinity edge gives you an instant 45% increase in damage vs navori's 20% max (at 100% crit)

navori is still befter, ive done dmg testing and e dmg is very similar between the 2. navori has the advantage though bc it increases your ult max hp threshold to nearly 50% when you have collector.

It isn't a 45 % increase. Most champs do 175% dmg on a crit. IE increases this to 220%. Assuming 100% crit chance, the percentual damage increase due to IE is 220%/175%*100% = 126 %, so IE basically increases the damage by ~26%, not 45%, even if you have 100% crit chance.

The actual difference isn’t much at all since 45% is added ontop of the actual crit damage, not the entire attack, plus Navori not only gives ability haste, it also boosts the damage of ur other abilities, the other passive is pretty useless when ur fed but would be useful in long fights. When they get rid of mythics though IE will definitely be on the menu.

Last item should have been black cleaver, it reduces a lot of armor stacking with the E 6 hits effect, making your lethality even stronger, also some hp AND cd reduction is great !

Coup de grace is actually pronounced like Coo De Gra. It's a French phrase that means "stroke of grace" or "mercy killing" and they almost always silent the last letter or two. Never took French, but worked a lot with them and I realized it.

Just a lil nitpick: if you just walk up towards someone and use your spin before q, you can use q mid spin to gain the movementspeed if they try to run away (e only ends if you end e by pressing it again) and the spin reduces their armor so q does more dmg.

I did the maths bro At max level of the champ (18). if you have 633 ad (example) but you have the minimum atk speed 1.013, you will end up doing only 9 spins with the damage of 284 In the oposite scenerio. if you have the minimunm ad 381 but you have the max atk speed 2.38 (without boots and LethalTemp), you will end up doing 18 spins with the damage of 180 So now multiply 284x9=2556 180x18=3240 (Ignoring the crit chance and just raw damage) So we can say that the more spins you can do, the most damage you will end up doing but you can balance between atk speed and ad (and with crit even more). That's what Smite did. Added a speed bot that gave the same MS as boots but nothing else and didn't stack with boots. Then eventually they just got rid of them. Now your MS just scales til lvl7 and then you have the same MS as boots/speed potion gave you.

the thing with Garen's spin is it's a set duration. so if you have 6 spins it's 2 hits per second lets say 100 damage each. 200dps. move to 12 spins same damage value, 4 hits per second at 100 for 400 dps. If you go 6 spins double the damage, so still 2 hits but 200 each, so 400 dps so to really scale garen damage you have to hybrid it. Much like you did. Want to push to 10+ and damage. People confuse the scaling mechanic and go all one way or the other and end up with less overall damage.

It's a bell curve, where you want more spins till about 7-8 then shift to damage. Thing to remember is people will be using flash, roots, dashes to get out of the spins, so you want to get as many as possible as fast. spins tend to be easier to get than damage with garen in a meaningful way. Also a lot of attack speed items come with damage. but you want the higher attack speed items first then shift to pure attack ones later if you want max spin to win. I usually rush up to about 6-7 spins then next item usually about 3rd or 4th get a big damage item. then 5th and 6th decide if i need to tank up or if I can just run them over, Nice thing with Garen is he does well no matter the need, just need to read the team read the game and adjust. @@luizp.7251

I hope that one day Zwag considers switching his mythic for Eclipse when he's pondering the 6th item with these AD builds. 25ms (5 per item) makes the movespeed issue SO much more tolerable. Like yeah you're not gonna be Quinn but who can turn their nose up at tier 1 boots without having to actually buy them? Paired with Phantom Dancer you barely notice that you don't have boots. Not to mention >50% armour pen, %HP burst and an extra shield. (Duskblade works too but late game Eclipse is better)

To get attack speed you could run Hail of Blades, auto once to acrivate it and get the 110% as for 3 seconds

temporary attack speed doesn't work, only permanent, so things like hail of blade, lethal tempo, rageblade, or lulu w don't affect garen e, it's like how kai'sa evolve doesn't take temporary attack speed into it's calculation
