Heavenly Father, my prayer is that your true annointed will rise up and operate by faith instead of sitting on the sidelines believing only. Read verse 24 of the same Chapter, “And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day” it refers to the person he was wrestling as “Man”...obviously the “Man” was an Angelic being of some sort or let’s say a Super natural being...it could have been God in form of Man...but one thing is for sure He was an Agent of God....My point is, it is silly to say Jacob physically wrestled with God, because God the creator of all things does not need to lower Himself to that level unless, He has to, in order to illustrate,teach,save humanity for our benefit for our salvation, that’s why He disrobed Himself of His Glory and came to us a (Human) Man as Jesus Christ to be crucified for our sins....
