2:21 in this first clip of him singing that insane high note you can tell he isn't comfortable with the range. there was a lot of tension around his neck which shows he was forcing it out which isn't healthy. but as you progress further into the video and we watch him practice the same high note over and over, you can 100% see (AND HEAR) the difference! By the time they were practicing with the choreography the strain was considerably reduced and it sounded so much clearer than in the first clip. You can tell he practiced a lot and the outcome was well worth it imo, their stage was so amazing and impactful. everyone was shook af by his vocal capabilities and rightfully so!! Han nailed that performance, I got chills watching him. boi deserves so much respect for being such an ace

There's actually a story behind this: Han had vocal nodules at the time. In fact, Han did not sing in Kingdom again after this performance to rest his voice. This came as a surprise to many because vocal nodules are a painful handicap for vocalists and at that time Han was given the task of playing the highest and hardest notes of I`ll Be Your Man. This song is recognized as being vocally hard and difficult because of its own producers and the group (BTOB) that sang it. So I'm not surprised that this presentation surprised more than one.

I'm sure there's a lot they weren't showing us in terms of technique and how he used that to deal with his nodules. I'm glad they let him rest his voice after that though cus vocal nodules can seriously ruin your voice if you keep straining yourself.
