Hey man that’s so cool I’m a middle schooler that played horn for 2 years now and I love it you give me so much inspiration and I’m not sure that you care but I made first chair symphonic in district competition band and I went against 8th graders and a 14 more horn players

Congrats! Keep playing. High school bands have steeper competition but you should try to make all-state bands. Good luck.

what do u do to gain lip strength for such high notes bc the last note im capable of playing is a high g and not consistently. i’ve been trying to gain strength for the last couple months but i feel like i haven’t made that much progress and i was wondering if mouth pieces would play a huge roll in this as well too.
