@@mathieuvigne7336 i used to have on average 250-300 kills on L8 missions. Now rarely do i get to 200+. Same for my teammates, it used to be that L9 was a tad too hard for me, but no longer. These days i can run underperforming builds and still carry L10s. So long as you're carrying something you're good with. I miss the days where L9-10 was complete shitshow and i had to do everything within my power to stay alive and complete objectives. When you get that close to defeat and yet pull a victory, those matches make the best memories. PS: I am an Automaton-only player as well.

I remember clearly what I did as an answer to them. I placed an HMG turret preemptively, and acted as an anti-air station. My teammates extracted safe and sound. Me on the other hand.. I gave em hell, but they got me 30 or so meters from the extraction.

Even though people claim it was a difficulty glitch, but it was actually lore accurate difficulty. Meridia had become a super colony. The in game description said that even landfall was impossible due to the number of enemies. So basically there weren't any areas with difficulty 1-9 missions. The whole planet was a difficulty 15+ mission.

Story time: Quite recently I had a moment like this while doing a Raise the Flag mission, Super Helldive, on bots. If you’ve ever played that mission you know how difficult it is. That day I had completed like four other Raise the Flag missions on the same difficulty, and now I was helping my friend group get through theirs. They were on their fifth try. We are raising our first flag, it’s a slaughter, but it keeps rising bit by bit. Eventually it gets to the top of the pole and now we have to clear out all enemies. My defense stratagems are down, I’m firing off my Arc Thrower, there’s a Factory Strider, three hulks, and a shit ton of chaff all over the place. Somebody yells “We gotta pull back or we’re gonna die!” And I immediately yell in response “Shut the F-K UP and do your job! Hold your ground, we just gotta clear!” A moment later everything is dead and we raise our first flag. We have a small laugh break, and then move onto the others. We finished that mission. For Super Earth.

He was right... only hulks and tanks got through but not for long. If you also have a sentry fanatic to back up the walls of fire, pretty much golden for all but the tanks and any gunships

Reminds me of something I went through myself recently, lol Esker, Diff 6, Terminid offensive Flag Raising Not hard, right? Well.. All was going pretty smoothly. Got to the first objective location. Set up turrets. Called in flag. My timing was a bit off, and I got overwhelmed, so I had to run around a little. I'm flying solo at the moment. 2nd attempt, flag raised fully, but there's so many bugs all around. Ended up dying a couple times. Impaler appears, I almost kill it, and then die to the swarm as I dropped a OPS Beacon. I then land on the Impaler, and run around, shooting, getting stabbed, calling in sentries. Finally, I clear the area. Except.. there was an Impaler stuck ***UNDER THE FUCKING MAP*** right next to the flag! Several helldivers joined, going around, completing the other objectives. One brought a Grenade launcher, though he left shortly after. I do the TrenchDiver thing, and start digging with the Grenade launcher. I'm pissed off at this point, and the others come over to try helping get the fucker out ***BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T DESPAWN!*** Eventually, 12+ whole Grenade chains later, we called in a couple 500kgs, but that didn't do it. Finally, after ***30 minutes*** of trying to dig out this stupid bug, a SEAF mini nuke shell kills off the Impaler. I have never been so frustrated with one damn bug.

I missed the time that we have to deploy dark flude into the Meridia, that mission is crazy at beginning, bug breach right on top of the drill and we really need to communicate with teammates. Its so satisfy when we really pull off and oh boi the amount of shrieker after finished is crazy, it is so hard to extraction and it really feels like a suicide mission, all teammate hidding under a rock, emptying their guns holding the bugs back and waiting for pelican.

The best movie moment I’ve experienced so far is holding off a massive horde of Tyranids while the others ran toward the extraction zone. I stayed behind fully expecting to die because there were Tyranids of all types in the area. They surrounded me, time and time again, yet I always escaped and laid waste to them. Whenever I go against the Tyranids I make a point to use fire-based weapons/stratagems: Usually the flamethrower, incendiary shotgun, fire grenades, and Napalm strikes. I lived to extract with the rest of the team, arriving just in time for the dropship to arrive.
