In Xena: Warrior Princess her deep voice is her natural voice and she seems much more relaxed around Gabrielle and so she doesn’t need to have a high pitched voice because she’s comfortable around Gabrielle because she knocked down a lot of Xena’s walls

she is great in dramatic roles specially one as the ex cop turned Private investigator...such an understated underrated actress...and pretty humble in real life apparently
