Napaka useful ng engine breaking pag downhill o kaya pag nagka problema ang brake mo while driving. pag downhill tas dapat mabagal takbo, engine brake lang gamit ko 2nd gear tas kunting foot brake lang templa2 .. thank you dito idol .. mas na explain mo maayos.

Yes, automatic cars have engine braking, but it works slightly differently than in manual cars. Engine braking in an automatic vehicle occurs when you take your foot off the accelerator, causing the engine's RPM to decrease, and the transmission downshifts as needed. This process creates resistance that helps slow the car down, although it's typically less pronounced than in a manual car, where you can control the gears directly. In some automatic vehicles, you can enhance engine braking by shifting to lower gears manually using the "L" (Low), "S" (Sport), or manual shift modes (if available), which force the car to stay in a lower gear, increasing the engine's resistance and helping slow the vehicle.
