Life expectancy in 1958 was approximately 68.6 years when Sir Paul wrote this song, so the age of 64 was considered old. Now, when the life expectancy is around 80, they should be singing "when I'm 74". Today, the 60s are the new 50s. Thanks to modern medicine in the West.

When I was 17 I thought the Beatles song was out of grasp. After all who worries about turning 64 in 1967? Now I'm 69 and writing this message.. folks your life goes by in a flash and the rest of your days will slip away even faster. There is no time so do the absolute best you can and pay attention to the good .. and not so good.. that you do in this world.

That's the way to play the piano, just dancing on the keys using good form and having fun! I love the jazzy cords and notes you added to the song where it adds to making the song unique to your style and fuller in the sound. Whenever I play I also open up the main body of the piano so the sound resonates in the air and livens up the room that I'm in. When I was in college several years ago, and practicing on the old grand Steinways in the classrooms, the students used to stop by and listen to me and as if I was an instructor or practicing for a concert. I told them that I was practicing and just a student having fun! Thanks for sharing your talents and music with everyone!

@@SangahNoona Some people can play nothing unless it's written down. (Mechanical players like a piano roll back in the day .) This guy is perfect example. I'm an ear player but I write down tricky passages to get a clear vision. Mostly by ear though.
