I am 45 and I met my father for the first time on Jan 11, 2024. I found out I have 3 brothers and a sister that never knew I existed. This podcast hit home for me 🥹. I thought it would relieve all the stress I carried by meeting him but after hearing my brothers and sisters brag about how fortunate they were growing up resentment took over. Iam currently working on how to understand that everything happens for a reason and to always trust God. I am not there yet but it has been a thought. For anyone out there dealing with the same thing May God give you strength, understanding and most of all the healing that you need.

Thank you for sharing. I met my father at 12..had some good time but he did disappoint me when he didn’t show up to my graduation. He finally apologized and it took me some time to accept it. We got really close and 8 years later he passed from a diabetes. I didn’t know I would feel anything when I found out but I did. Out all of this I wish my sister and I had remained close.
