Woke up to a new VinWiki Story... wasn’t upset to hear from Doug today! . I’m a landscaper by trade. I run a tiny outfit out of Lexington, Ky and my newest client has offered me a fine trade deal: Service Work for his wife’s Jaguar. Doug, Ed... it’s an extremely dusty type of “Garage Kept”, probably the opposite result of that particular depiction, although it is factually garage kept, only just as filthy as the garage it’s sitting in. What kind of Jaguar is it? 1994 XJS 4liter coupe. Because it’s not a red convertible V12, but a British Racing Green, Straight Six, it’s not worth the 17k I’d spend on a car like that. That car’s worth about 6 or 7 grand around here and I’m gonna offer him 5.5 in Service Work. It’s been repainted, needs a battery, is missing the lower grill and hasn’t been driven since before dust mites started building camps on it. The interior was re-dyed at some point by an absolute amateur at best... but it still is, under all that dust and repaint a very beautiful classic of a Jaguar. . Good morning Y’all!

I know what I’m doing here... I’ll probably buy my first luxury car under my own straight cash one day of a lot this guy works for., and be able to easily establish my way into decent business there because of the rapport I’ve already made! 🙂 . Automotive networking, for me, is totally ideal and who better to accomplish it with than I dealer from an atmosphere I’d like to purchase a brand new luxury car from one day??? VR Alexander... He was pretty Kool. Had a brief time in Iowa for about a year. Was always super nice with us. And we were fuck off at that point. I had a stock mk3 Supra at the time. He had just wrecked an nsx on the wall in Davenport Iowa. And was driving a S2k at the time. 😔 RIP.
