Flying Elephant's effect is bullshit because it's a reference to super early Yugioh, where Pegasus gives instructions to a little boy on using this one card to defeat Banded Keith in his stead... which gives Banded Keith actual PTSD.

It's not that bad, really. There's like a million ways to get rid of it. Drowning Mirror Force, Kaiju, Compulsory Evacuation Device, Kurikara, Storming Mirror Force, Red Supernova Dragon. I go on forever here, dude.

@@danielannis2615 granted. However the first time i encountered flying elephant was at a local tabletop tournament years ago. Played a best of 7 with double elimination. The dude who won used that exact combo over and over. I played against him after the tournament was over while he was waiting for his ride to pick him up and we ended at 3-3 before he had to leave. Never got that last match and i never forgot that combo. Still haunts me how fast he was taking ppl out in that tournament.

The spell let's him attack directly. Due to the opponent trying to destroy flying elephant through card effect it's effects kick in When you try to kill it, next turn you can attack directly and win the duel

If you use the elephant effect to prevent destruction from an opponent's card effect and deal direct damage the next turn, you auto-win

The equip spell Power of the Guardians protected his elephant from being destroyed by battle by removing one spell counter on it and its own effect protected it from being destroyed by monster effect. So he def was good after that lol

1:10 Technically, there wasn't really a point in negating Ghost Sister anyway, since it only gives you Life Points when your opponent Special Summons monsters. Due to Flying Elephant's instant win condition, Life Points wouldn't have even mattered, so Ghost Sister wasn't helping him at all.

I’ve run into far too many instances where I’m wide open for the opponent to finish me off, and they just keep playing pointless combos while I’m just groaning in the corner like, “For God’s sake, man, just get on with it! Just freaking kill me!”

So let me get this straight... If the elephant would be destroyed by a card effect it isn't destroyed... then on the next turn if it does a direct attack you win the duel... That's sounds harder to pull off then summoning boss monsters in this game.
