How have I not commented on this video o_O lol Once again you've created an amazing video. Your song choice is brilliant. I have to ask do you think of the video first then figure out the soundtrack or do you hear the song first and make a video to match? I loved the part where the lyrics would have been "lights will guide you home" and then the video switches to Regina standing over the wishing well with the bright light of the spell. Thanks again for these great videos : )

To answer your question, most of the time I find a song that really speaks to me (or a few that I can possibly edit together) first, because I listen to music on an hourly basis and am always looking for pieces that release endorphins and give me those good goosebumps :). From there, the song starts a series of images rolling through my head and I find clips (or semi-near what I'm looking for clips) from "Once Upon A Time" (and I mean from anywhere in the series, not just those scenes that are Swan Queen related), and start mapping out a story in my head. Then I head to my computer chock-a-bloc full of the episodes and start editing a sequence together. It takes anywhere from 20-30 hours to make each video from finding the song to finishing the complete upload to KZbin, and it's worth every minute with people like you telling me how much they enjoy each story :)
