When it suddenly goes wrong

For a lot of grownups, the moment their preschooler goes from being fully engaged to really silly is really triggering. We tell ourselves:
“They’re not listening. They’ll never be a good student”
“They don’t like to learn. They’re not ready.”
“I’m bad at this. I shouldn’t even try to teach my child.”
But this is normal. This is PLAY! This is a moment to lean in, observe and follow your child’s lead.
